Grits are the bomb! I love them with cheese and butter and crumbled crispy bacon (when I am a meat eater). Yum!

Polenta or grits are good fasting food too, without the dairy.

American "cheese" is also known as "processed cheese food." See they have to tell you it's food, or else you wouldn't know.

For an early valentine's supper tonight I shared a platter with Andrew that was gorgeous (I will try to upload a photo in a bit) with:

dark chocolate fondue with turkish delight, nectarines and strawberries to dip
chocolate cupcake with butterscotch sauce and fondant hearts stuck in to look like a butterfly's wings (with the sauce for the body)
raspberry and rosewater panna cotta with lychee and raspberries on top
jackfruit sticky rice cake with icecream

and mint tea

Oh goodness. Yum. There is a reason this cafe is one of our favourites...that and the fact that they have half the menu at any given time both vegan and totally delicious. Fasting food yay!
