Halik followed Misty into the bar. As they went their separate ways, Halik surveyed the scene, trying to find the right person or two.

"Ah-ha," she said under her breath. There was a group of men playing a dice game, most likely for big winnings. She wandered over to the group and noticed that there were quite a lot of people watching, all of them really rather drunk.

She smiled again as she watched the game for a few moments. Once she had pinpointed her target and felt like Misty had adequate time to get down to the cellar and ready, Halik was able to find another set of dice similar to the ones the men in the group were using. She walked up between two of the men and put on her best innocent girl face.

"Excuse me, sirs," she asked kindly, even whimpering a bit, "but I found this and was wondering if it belonged to either of you." She shook the cup the dice were in and continued her bluff, "I can see why you wouldn't want to use them though. They feel like they'd always land the same way or something."

"Is them weighted dice?!" a muscular man across the group looked up and shouted, "You's been using weighted dice?!"

The man on Halik's left jumped up to defend himself, "No! Them ain't mine! They must be his!"

Now the man on Halik's right jumped up, "Why would I be using weighted dice?! I'm winning just square against the likes of you!"

Halik smiled as a mug half-full flew by from somewhere at the back of the crowd. A couple more insults later and punches were being thrown left and right. She dropped the dice and headed toward the closest exit, which happened to be a window that had recently been broken by a man flying through it.

Halik laughed to herself, wondering if Misty would hear the commotion alright.

Suddenly the sound of many drunk men shouting filledthe basement.
YES!!! Now was her chance to escape. Misty grabbed the cloack that was lying on a crate and rapped herself in it. She grabbed the dynamite, wrapped it in a blanket and quickly ran up the stairs and out of the bar. She sprinted to the prison. Halik was already waiting there.

"Okay, back away from the window, I'm gonna blow this joint."

With that, Misty unloaded the dynamite, placed it by the prison window, and lit it. She and Halik ran a few yards away and watched as the wall was blown away.

Halik ducked low to the ground as debris came flying around her and Misty. As the dust was settling, Ragetti and Pintel pulled themselves out of the hole that was created and dusted themselves off.

"Not bad," Pintel said, looking around and smiling.

"That was pretty loud," Ragetti said as he surveyed the area for soldiers.

Halik stood up and ran to give her brother a hug, which he received with a quick one-armed embraced, although he smiled down at her. She quickly let go, still smiling and announced, "I suppose that any number of important people heard that explosion. I have a ship on hold for us about a mile outside this town. Shall we?"

Halik simply grinned and led the group next to the stone wall until they found an opening they could get through. Already a lot of noise was being made as other prisoners were trying to escape through the hole in the prison wall.

The further through the woods they quickly crept, the more the noise of the stirred up town quieted, much to Halik's surprise. She thought for sure that they'd hear people talking and searching along the road they were paralleling. Soon they reached a small cove with a shallow beach.

"There she be," Halik announced, pointing to a longboat covered with tree branches.

Pintel and Ragetti ran over to the boat, uncovered it, and pushed it out into the water, glad to get as far away from the town as possible. "Come on, ladies," Pintel charged as he grabbed an oar and threw the other one to Ragetti, "Daylight won't be in our favor for long."

Halik jumped in.

"Are you sure you know where to go from here?" Hailk asked as the two men kept rowing.

"Well, I think I'm sure. I wouldn't hold out too much hope for your brother though," Pintel replied, rolling his eyes a bit as Ragetti laughed to himself.

Halik just smiled sympathetically.

They had to stay far enough away from the shore so that they wouldn't be spotted, but several time Ragetti and Pintel somehow steered them into nudging the rocks of shallow water again and a again. Halik was beginning to wonder.

"Look! Look, there it is!" Ragetti suddenly shouted after what seemed like hours, pointing and momentarily losing control of his oar, " It's the Black Pearl!"

"Yep, it is," Pintel agreed, looking in the same direction, "I'd know that ship from miles away."

"Do you think the Captain will shoot at us before he knows who we are?" Ragetti laughed, a bit nervously.

Halik sighed deeply. It didn't seem like anything had changed since she was last on that boat.

((I guess we can all use the character of Jack Sparrow until someone wants to take it *shrug* Doesn't matter to me.))

((Um, I know there were people who wanted to play Elizabeth and/or Will, but it seems that they have dropped out. Even though I'm not the GM, I don't see why you couldn't play, or the other, or both. You could always PM the person/people that wanted to play those characters and ask if they still want them. *shrug*))

((As for the plot, I have no idea what the GM had in mind, so we were mostly just starting out and trying to get all the characters together. If you have a really good plot idea, feel free to suggest or have your characters point us in that direction. Our characters have just arrived at the Black Pearl, so perhaps Elizabeth and/or Will could already be onboard with Captain Jack. I was just waiting for Tiger4Jesus (who was playing Jack) to see us or somehow invite us onboard, which I believe is customary for one who wishes to board another's ship, especially a pirate's ship. Otherwise we can just have Captain Jack Sparrow be a NPC until someone wants to grab him up.))

((Welcome aboard, Nostariel!!! Glad to have you!!!))

Halik watched as the dark outline of the Black Pearl came into more detail, and got bigger. If the Captain didn't see them, the ship could crush them. She began to search her person and the small rowboat for anything they could use to signal the Black Pearl.

"What colors would we run up if we even had a mast?" she mumbled under her breath, knowing she was horrible at remembering most basic pirate and nautical terminology and symbols.

"Ship off the starboard bow!" a voice called down from the crow's nest on the Black Pearl.

"I doubt I'd be calling that a ship," Gibbs said as he and several other crew members ran over to the side of the ship to take a look, "That little boat would be turned over in a moment from the waves that the Black Pearl be making!" Others around him laughed and agreed wholeheartedly.

Halik finally decided that her cloak would have to do for the time being. She stood up on the small boat and began waving it back and forth like a flag, hopeing the color brown didn't have any negative conotations with it.

"Careful there!" Pintel yelled, stretching his arms out to try and steady their boat.

"What does a brown flag mean?" Ragetti asked, turning to see what the Black Pearl would do in response.

"Someone fetch the Captain," Gibbs turned and yelled to whichever crewman would listen, "And someone find out who's on that boat."
