Halik followed Misty into the bar. As they went their separate ways, Halik surveyed the scene, trying to find the right person or two.
"Ah-ha," she said under her breath. There was a group of men playing a dice game, most likely for big winnings. She wandered over to the group and noticed that there were quite a lot of people watching, all of them really rather drunk.
She smiled again as she watched the game for a few moments. Once she had pinpointed her target and felt like Misty had adequate time to get down to the cellar and ready, Halik was able to find another set of dice similar to the ones the men in the group were using. She walked up between two of the men and put on her best innocent girl face.
"Excuse me, sirs," she asked kindly, even whimpering a bit, "but I found this and was wondering if it belonged to either of you." She shook the cup the dice were in and continued her bluff, "I can see why you wouldn't want to use them though. They feel like they'd always land the same way or something."
"Is them weighted dice?!" a muscular man across the group looked up and shouted, "You's been using weighted dice?!"
The man on Halik's left jumped up to defend himself, "No! Them ain't mine! They must be his!"
Now the man on Halik's right jumped up, "Why would I be using weighted dice?! I'm winning just square against the likes of you!"
Halik smiled as a mug half-full flew by from somewhere at the back of the crowd. A couple more insults later and punches were being thrown left and right. She dropped the dice and headed toward the closest exit, which happened to be a window that had recently been broken by a man flying through it.
Halik laughed to herself, wondering if Misty would hear the commotion alright.
