Halik looked around the island after she got out of the long boat. A couple of crew members stayed inside it, rowing back to the ship for anyone else who was getting off. It seemed fairly deserted, although she couldn't figure out if that was a good thing or a bad thing.
"How far are we from that town you two were in, brother?" She asked Ragetti, stepping closer to him and away from the dense forest that stood before them.
"I don't think we're on the same piece of land even," Ragetti said with a chuckle.
"True enough, I'd say," Pintel agreed, pulling his pistol from its place in his belt, "But I still don't think we're out of danger just yet."
Halik stared into the forest, trying to see if anything was looking back at them. "Great," she sighed, "so what has the Captain decided is the next move?" Halik looked behind her as the boat with the lady captain pulled into the sand.
