No, there is no mention of the Chixculub impact. There is a long narration of the 550,00,000 year evolution of life on earth. Dinosaurs came and went at different ages.
But they "went" forever 65mya; after the Chixculub asteroid impact.

The Life Carriers who initiated and fostered life on earth have been here ever since. They narrated parts of the UB dealing with the evolution of dinosaurs.
Life Carriers. Celestial Administrators. Universal Fathers. What's next? Galactic Overlords?

I get the impression that you aren't really interested in understanding because your mind is made up.
To be fair, when people start talking about Elysian Joint Chiefs Of Staff, my eyes start to glaze over...

I can appreciate that. In the 1950's when the UB came out, people laughed at us when we talked about flying dinosaurs, plate tectonics, Neanderthals mixing with humans etc. Now not so much.

Why did you exclude the possibility that we may understand, but consider the UB to be fictitious nonsense, and that you're gullible for having anything more than an academic interest in it's contents.

I wouldn't say dangerous...though it's funny that you should mention star trek, interplanetary kingdoms, constellation fathers and the like after telling me my characterization of the characters in your book are space aliens.

In all, the UB isn't that much different than any other religious book. It's main problem is the lack of a central figurehead, instead alluding to vagaries of christianity and the like. I think it would've been a lot more successful had it been fictionalized from the ground up instead of borrowing from already established religions.

Pity is a word I'd use though Colt...though it's not something I feel in abundance. After all, it's not as if you were indoctrinated into this belief system, were you? You probably found the book on your own and fell in love with feeling "different" from all those other christians. You felt as if you'd discovered something true that they didn't know yet, so it made you feel special. Is that about right?

In the 1950s when the book was published, it contained a number of scientific theories that have since been disproved. It also included some rather racist suggestions regarding the relationship between blacks and whites.

What's amazing to me, is that since that initial publication, they've altered some of the scientific stuff to better fit with what science currently knows. I can't remember what the UB foundation claims, but I think it's something along the lines of "these were always a part of the UB, we just didn't publish those scientific parts initially because we thought that the public wasn't ready for it." It's really sad that anyone would continue believing after that.

So, ironically, what would be the best way of showing there's some truth to the UB turns out to be nothing more than another reason to be skeptical of it.

None of the Scientific content has been altered from the original publication, only minor errors from the typesetting in nickel plates.

The revelators used science of the day in their presentation, they also used science that had not been validated until long after the book was published.

I grew up in a moderate Christian family. We attended church sporadically, I hated it! My dad found the UB in the 60's form one if his patients. He was sort of a closet reader. From time to time he would read a paragraph out loud to us kids laying around watching Archie Bunker, it was as if I already knew the material. But I wasn't interested in a commitment to God until I had a spiritual awakening. I would eventually get my own UB. All things considered, the fragmented bible book collection and the discoveries of science, the UB made sense to me on an intellectual level as well a spiritual level. When people find a great treasure they are eager to share it with others.
