what do I know but I think maybe on the most part the babptist in the south are more fire and brimstone churches ( which is good) than we have up here ( though there are some here just not as numerous , like I said what do I know) LOL opinion only ''remember I know nothing about nothing

I just wish more people would hang out more like this without having the blessing incentive. I find it a fun way to up my post count fast and gettin to know people better.

It really doesnt matter ...we just like hanging out with each other and others

yes, southern baptist churches are generally more conservative, my former pastor, Adrian Rogers was elected president of the SBC when there was a push to make it more liberal.

in the united states southern baptist churches are different then the northern baptist churches... EXTREMELY different

I'm not sure which my church is most like then. Though Baptist chuches are all autonomous anyway, theres not really a central baptist council telling them about doctrine or whatever. At least thats how it is here.

yeah Southern Baptist churches are like that, but there are also other baptist churches here in the South.

Like we went swimming a lot this weekend, really cooled us off, its harder for me to get warm in the winter than stay cool in the summer

Sounds like it may be like what we would call an Independent Baptist here.
