Have you talked to your pastor/minister about it?

I've expressed an interest, I'm always a bit shy on joining a new group of people (I did know a few of the younger members of the church before joining but not everyone) I might be a bit unreliable as a permanent team member though, a lot of other stuff to do. My best musical contribution at the moment might be just to turn up and sing my heart out!

I'm in the South.. never been North to any of the churches. I've actually only visited a few Baptist churches. There are all types of Baptists though... Southern Baptist, Independent Baptist, First Baptist etc. I think there's only one thing that really matters though when you get right down to it.. that they confess Jesus Christ is Lord, not really all the doctrinal issues.

Hey! glad to see ya, hope things are getting better for the both of you!

They are! Honey is improving daily!

Some, and some traditional hymns too. The accompaniment (sp?) has accoustic guitar, Bass, Keyboard and electric drums though. A lot more uplifting than the traditional church organ most churches here seem to have.

We have guitars (electric and acoustic), drums, keyboard, tamborine and it sounds so awesome.
