1 John 4:6
We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
There does seem to be a spirit of error and a spirit of truth. At some point everyone is going to have to go all one way or the other. Truth or error, love or hate, all right or all wrong. Faith or doubt and unbelief.
Isn't that why there are so many denominations in Christianity? Every one of them think the others are in error on some particular point.
Not really, I think more in terms of christians who are mature and those who are immature. Eventually, all true christian will grow up into the unity of the faith.
Ephes. 4:13
till we all come to theunity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;
