They TEACH their populace including the children to hate and kill the Jews. They do it in their schools and on their television and in their summer camps. The entire area is about death.

These vermin are even detested by the Arab nations.

I'm noticing that there are a lot of folks who either ignorant of the history or deliberately cherry picking what they are putting forward as the history of the region.

Here's the shortened version.

The area was controlled by the Ottoman Empire up until 1920 when the dissolution of the Ottoman Empire took place. There was no Palestinian state and no Israel at the time. The League of Nations decided to give the area to Great Britain to control under the Mandate system established for areas without governance of their own. The Palestine area was one of them. Don't get bigged down with the name "Palestine" as if it only referred to Arab Palestinians. Palestine also referred to the Jews who lived there. At the time they recognized that the Jews had a historic connection to Palestine and there was a need for a Jewish state in the region. So Britain operating under the authority of the League of Nations determined that there be a Jewish state. In 1922 they determined the Jewish state would not apply to the area east of the Jordan River. The British did allow that the local Arab and Jewish communities to govern their own affairs.

In 1937 the Peele commission recommended that Palestine be divided between the Jews and the Arabs and the Jews agreed. However, the Arabs flatly refused to accept the deal.

The Arabs put pressure on the Brits and the White Papers of 1930 and 1939 restricted immigration and land by the Jews and in 1940 it was severely restricted. In fact the Jews were banned from purchasing land in the area by the White Papers.

Now in 1917 there was the Balfour Declaration. This was before the deaultion of the Ottoman Empire and the British Mandate. It was a British document declaring that Britain recognized the need for a Jewish state. One could argue that the Declaration wasn't clear enough about the protections of the Arabs in the region. But the Brita were clear that it didn't mean that all of the region would be Jewish. But the Brits stood for a Jewish state. Although they never actually created on nor did they create an Arabic state either. In the White Papers the Brit decided they would not make Palestine a Jewish state which then basically did away with the Balfour declaration.

Then the Brits declaired that they were pulling out of the Mandate. Leaving the area still not unified nor governed.

What is interesting is that the entire world was against any Jewish migration into ANY of their countries. Talk about anti-Semitism. This includes the Palestine region, but the Jews came anyway. Much of it due to the war and the German persecution.

When the Brits ended their Mandate they asked the UN to take over the issue.

In 1947 the UN voted and passes Resolution 181 to establish separate Jewish and Arabic states in the region. Of course the Jews were happy and the Arabs were not. The Arabs not the Jews started the violence after the resolution. There had been violence on both sides up until then and there is no way to state who started it.

But the bottom line is that the UN gave Israel the right to establish a nation and Israel meant to. They declared sovereignty and immediately the Arabs attacked and were defeated.

Now to claim that Israel had not right or that a single person was responsible for the establishment of Israel it totally false. Balfour is not responsible and neither is the Peele commission. They were all walked back. It wasn't actually until the UN voted that there was a UN resolution for the establishment of Israel. And the Arabs attacked. Not Israel. Had the Arabs abided by the UN resolution and worked with the UN and the Jews there might have been no war. But the Arab nations have no quarter not did they offer any resolutions for establishing the state. It was just a flat out no and war. This is THEIR fault.

And there have been chances after this to set things right and get the Arab Palestinians a state, but it has ALWAYS been refused. Not by Israel but by the Arabs.

It's interesting to me that the Arabs have how many states? The Europeans have how many states? The Africans? The Japanese have one. The Chinese have one. Everybody has one. And yet there is still opposition to the Jews having one?

And the complete ignorance of the refusal of the Arab states to establish a Palestinian one is mind boggling. And they refusal to understand that it's the Arabs who keep attacking Israel and they always have. It's history. No Israel hasn't always done the right thing imo. But they have done all they can to protect their people. Sometimes it could be considered wrong. But they didn't do it for greed. They did it to try and stop the attacks. They are a small nation about the size of New Jersey. And I wonder what NJ would do if their neighbors were constantly attacking them and trying to wipe them off the map.

Why are you designating that as the de facto flashpoint of the conflict? Was everything nothing but butterflies and sunshine before that? Are we to ignore the fact that immediately upon its creation an association of Arab countries tried to wipe Israel off the map? How convenient.

As I said, the answer is simple, place someone in charge of the Palestinians et al who'll recognize Israel's right to exist. If you can't do that then what's the point in trying to assign blame. Assigning blame isn't going to fix the problem, and neither is acquiescing to Palestinian demands without first guaranteeing that Israel isn't under the constant threat of being annihilated. Being oppressed or being annihilated, one of these is obviously the greater threat.

Jews have always lived in Palestine. They lived with the Arabs under Ottoman rule... Together.

Unfortunately, for the Muslims, when the Ottomans were defeated after WW 1, and Muslims noticed that the Jews and the Ango-Saxon Brits (who replaced the Ottomans) were getting along, they became jealous.

The Muslims couldn't handle not being the dominating majority. And once they saw that the Jews who escaped Nazi Germany during the mid 1940's, were returning home with "new ideas" they didn't understand, they became aggressive.

And then these Jews that were all sitting there needed a government to build roads and hospitals, and other essentials for modern society... And then the Arab Muslims became violent.

Jews fleeing Germany during the 1940’s were, by definition, not “returning home.” Their homes were in Germany.

Saying that Jews are not allowed to migrate from Germany (or from anywhere) to Palestine is racist. Which is what the insurgency was about, according to your own article, in regards to the White Papers. And that seems to be exactly what you're defending - historical racism against Jews, aka: anti-Zionism.

...But here in the US, you wouldn't dare say that either Jews or Arabs aren't allowed to migrate here, would you?

So I have to ask, do you oppose racism in it's entirety? Or is it just depending on 'who'..?
