Jesus Died on Execution Stake for the purpose God Declares in His Word - the redemption of men, atonement for sin, to free us from our sin ! Not to make it easier to live in sin !!

What sins do you think observing our Lord's birth and resurrection make easier?

But I understand your opposition to the feasts honoring our Lord. As I understand it, your sect rejects the belief that our Lord is God Incarnate. Therefore you feel that we're honoring the Creation rather than the Creator Close?

There is nothing wrong with observing Christ's birth, or resurrection, with thanksgiving, yet there is no scriptural basis for doing it one day of year, for either. And we might celebrate some days with feasts, but the only biblical ones are shown in the old testament, otherwise we have cultural observances, and what believers would observe should not be with some pagan practices observed, if those can be identified.

There are things being done in addition to what we are told in the Bible, that is actually almost unavoidable, but what is in addition should really be considered carefully, but a bigger issue is what we are told in the Bible that many dismiss, or disregard, and for some there is just ignorance of some of those things we are told in the Bible. It could be different if those in Christianity all read and studied the Bible themselves, with praying to God, instead of basically listening to what is taught in churches and otherwise going along with what family and culture around them shows to do.
