  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

`You have come to Mount Zion......to the general assembly and church of the first-born who are registered in heaven...` (Heb. 12: 22 & 23)

`For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.` (1 Thess. 4: 14)
What is the point that you are intending to make by quoting these verses? How does this relate to what I said? I'm not going to pretend that I know how you interpret them or to know what you're meaning to say by just quoting these verses without any commentary. Imagine if I just responded with only verses to this without any commentary. Is that how we should be communicating here? Just quote verses and let people guess as to how we interpret them and guess as to what the reason is that we're quoting them?

You said, quote -

So, to be consistent, we can only conclude that the dead in Christ will all be resurrected on the same "last day" that unbelievers are condemned.

So I pointed out that the B/C who have died are in the General Assembly in the third heaven, and they will come with Christ when He comes for the whole Body.

It is their souls that are in the third heaven now. Agree? So, it is their souls that will come with Christ and they will be united with the changed, immortal bodies (1 Cor 15:50-54). Agree?

So, getting back to the point I had been making, this will happen on the last day according to Jesus. Agree? Because it is on the last day that believers will be resurrected (John 6:39-40, etc.). Yet, Jesus said unbelievers will be judged at that point as well (John 12:48). This places the resurrection of all people and the judgment of all people (believers won't be condemned, but will have to give an account of themselves) as occurring once the last day (the day that Jesus comes again) arrives. So, there is no time period that occurs between the resurrection of the dead and the judgment as Premils believe.

`Do you not know that the saints shall judge the world system?

Do you not know that we shall judge fallen angels? ( 1 Cor. 6: 2 & 3)

And those judgments are from the Lord`s own throne in the highest during the trib. (Rev. 3: 21, Rev. 8 - 19)

You didn't answer any of my questions or address any of my points specifically. This is hopeless. You clearly are not interested in a normal discussion where each person actually addresses each other's questions and points.
