  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

So you admit, then, that she did insult him.
Well i would sayshe critiqued him, not insult him.

Or is critiquing the same as insulting now?

Pray, whatdid you deem to be so offensive? Is it more offensive that imitating a arthrygryopsis patient?

You're wrong. It was debunked, and his talk was just talk.

Again, it was excused, not debunked. It is perplexing to me how his supporters who are evangelical Christians, particularly Christian men, seem to not have a moral problem with Trump, who was married, bragging about groping women.

She unapologetically lied about him. That's more offensive even than Hillary's hacked up green phlegm.

His words cannot be defended, and he has expressed regret for having spoken them. Nuff said on that. As for the idea that he mocked a reporter with a disability, debunked is the correct word.

Because none of us were able to tell who she was talking about.

He has a responsibility to defend himself when someone lies about him.

Of course we all knew who she was talking about, bc he's the most infamous bully of our time. Still, he acknowledged that it was him, which totally escalated the situation in a hilarious way.

She didn't lie about him. He's lying about his actions, which were recorded & in front of many people. If you're gullible enough to believe him when he said he didn't do that, just bc he said he didn't (when he's a proven liar) then I feel really sorry for you. He bullies & attacks people all the time, including private citizens. Most of the time, people have more more dignity & maturity than he does, & don't respond in kind.

If it eases your conscience to believe that then that is your choice. However, it is very clear to those who refuse to defend Trump's depraved and crude behavior, we can clearly see, as plain as day, that he mocked the disabled reporter.

What's hilarious too is that Meryl Streep didn't even call him out by name, but Donald identified himself.

He's proven repeatedly that he's the bully with the super fragile skin. He trashes people on Twitter all the time but if somebody criticizes him, not even by name, then he has a tantrum.

She didn't have to use him name.

So far do you feel his twitter account is providing evidence of good priority setting?

You're seeing "depraved and crude behavior" where in fact there was none. Hope that works out for you friend.

He's a great, great leader and a great, great man. He isn't just someone who shows up and mouths off unnecessarily at an awards show.

That you would deflect responsibility off Trump onto politicians.
The lol though was bc of you seem to blame politicians for a lot.

Yes, I've filed taxes.

I am no Trump fan, but taking advantage of legal ways to lower tax burden, is something any smart businessman is going to do. What should these people do, tell their tax lawyers to pay taxes anyway, even when they can legally avoid doing so?

I know, that's what makes Trump's actions so pathetic. That we all knew it was him & he took claim to it by sending out the sulky Tweets.

The original point was that the salary he's allegedly going to turn down as President is a fraction of the federal taxes he didn't pay for years, after an almost $1 billion loss.

The main point is really this, any smart person is going to use every legal avenue to lower their tax burden. I can guarantee you , the mega rich Clinton supporters do the same thing.

Well we can't really talk that much about Trump's taxes since he failed to ever show his tax returns.
