Gluttony is not merely overeating, it's the inordinate desire for food.

Yes and that abnormal desire for food, causes one to overeat.

For some, consuming food is used as a temporary comfort.

From the Shroud of Turin we can see that Christ was pretty fit, as you would expect a well-disciplined person to be.

As you would expect from a Carpenter. When I did that sort of work I could eat up to 3500 calories a day and still stay thin and trim. Now my doctor wants me to eat less then 1200 a day.

They tamper a lot with the food now a days. The best thing to do is avoid all processed food. If you can not spell it then you are not suppose to eat it. It there are more then five ingredients on the label they tell me not to eat it.

Researchers have also found that certain exercises and yoga positions stress the bones in a positive way that help build bone strength. Sadly many nursing homes want their residents to die quickly as they already have all of their money.

Not an eviction. I'm just not renewing her lease (in fact I'm allowing her an extra month to find a place). A fan is just another noise that would keep me awake (tried that). I'm a restless and light sleeper, getting my best sleep the last two hours, just when the cats-from-hell are released.

I believe you are correct. Depending on the language in the lease, there is no obligation to renew the lease, though you may have to provide notice of non renewal.

I always give plenty of notice though it is rare that I don't renew a lease.

Regarding your link, tenants have no rights regarding pets.

I gave verbal permission for one cat, she brought in two, thus the chasing and the noise. I have a "no pets" clause in the lease that I didn't amend in writing, so she would have no case in court. I mentioned her weight just in passing. It has nothing to do with non renewal.

I would think that they would want to keep them alive as long as they can to keep collecting money from them. But they feed them a mostly junk processed food, so they do not make any attempt to keep them healthy. I am sure the government does not want to keep people alive though because it cost them a lot of money.
