An eviction notice is given before the termination date of a lease and must include a legitimate cause. The termination date of the lease ends the rental/tenant relationship unless the landlord and tenant agree to renew it. No notice, or reason, is required by either party.

I believe you are correct. Depending on the language in the lease, there is no obligation to renew the lease, though you may have to provide notice of non renewal.

I was wrong. Ending the lease at the end of term is not an eviction.
But you need to give enough notice and she may contest your actions.

You have stated her weight and cats which you allowed. Both issues may

I would think that they would want to keep them alive as long as they can to keep collecting money from them. But they feed them a mostly junk processed food, so they do not make any attempt to keep them healthy. I am sure the government does not want to keep people alive though because it cost them a lot of money.Calcium intake combined with stress on the bones from carrying extra weight strengthens bones. Sadly many nursing homes want their residents to die quickly as they already have all of their money.
