Our Parish's Centennial Celebration

It was a long, involved, exhausting but glorious weekend (Nov 3-5).
We had numerous events, including a dinner with 4 Nashville songwriters entertaining. We had training/educational events Saturday, the unveiling of a historical marker downtown where our parish started, the official celebration, and a Hierarchal Divine Liturgy with the Metropolitan and the Arch Bishop.
I will only post 3 or 4 photos - but provide a link to a large photo album on the Metropolis website documenting the weekend.

Here's the Bishop, ArchBishop, and our Priest at the historical marker.
It's downtown, nextdoor to the Arena where the Nashville Predators (NHL franchise) play and the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Indeed.. and if you poke around the church photo albums you'll run across several pictures of parishioners/events at the full scale Parthenon replica here in town.

yep, when I was at Ft Campbell, I loved seeing the Parthenon there and going to Vespers with Gerunda Gregorios
