Rev 20-21
Vs 2-10 is the short summary
3 and he threw him into the abyss, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he would not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were completed; after these things he must be released for a short time.
4 Then I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand; and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. 5 The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were completed. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is the one who has a part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years.
The blessed and holy saints of God - are raised in the "FIRST" resurrection. at the start of the 1000 years ... (The dead in Christ rise first - 1 Thess 4).
The wicked are raised AFTER the 1000 years..
7 When the thousand years are completed, Satan will be released from his prison, 8 and will come out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together for the war; the number of them is like the sand of the seashore. 9 And they came up on the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city, and fire came down from heaven and devoured them. 10 And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever

Where did that city full of saints come from?
Rev 21
Rev 21 -- 2 And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them,
5 And He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” And He *said, “Write, for these words are faithful and true.” 6 Then He said to me, “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to the one who thirsts from the spring of the water of life without cost. 7 He who overcomes will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My son. 8 But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”
9 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and spoke with me, saying, “Come here, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.”
The New Jerusalem
10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, ... 27 and nothing unclean, and no one who practices abomination and lying, shall ever come into it, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
"In My fathers house are many dwelling places - I go to prepare a place for you" John 14

Because... "Bible details matter"
Less Bible then??
You are correct that it is only the Bible that matters and not what we think.
I understand what you are wanting to believe in that after Christ has returned at the second coming and resurrects the saints, He takes us home to the Heavenly Kingdom and the New Jerusalem, and there we dwell for 1000 years, while Satan is bound to this desolate earth with no one to tempt, as all the wicked were killed at the second coming.
But is that what the Bible actually says????????
When we Revelation 19:15-21, and I encourage you to read all of those verses, what
we do not find is that Jesus Christ takes us home to the Heavenly Kingdom and the New Jerusalem.
What we do see is that in Rev. 19:14 all the host of heaven comes down with Christ to witness Him at Armageddon.
Rev. 19:14....…..
"And the armies which were in heaven
followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean."
The next chronological event then is found in Rev. 20:1-2...………
"And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan,
and bound him a thousand years".
THEN the 1000 year rule of Christ begins which is the Kingdom promised in the Old Testament in Revelation 20:4...……..
"
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands;
and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years."
If the earth is desolate for the 1000 years, THEN WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE"??????
DETAILS MATTER! The BIBLE is the only correct method of understanding!!!
What I am saying to you is based on the literal, grammatical, historical interpretation of Scripture that interprets Scripture for what it says. It follows the basic hermeneutical principle that says,
If the literal sense makes sense seek no other sense.
That being the case, then The Bible says Christ's return to Earth will be followed by a
literal thousand year reign just as the Bible predicts here in Revelation 20:4.
This is the only view that alone strictly adheres to consistent principles of biblical interpretation. In other words, it is based on sound biblical hermeneutics.
If you would like to read up on these very important principles of interpretation, I recommend to you to read Bernard Ramm's book,
Protestant Biblical Interpretation.
Now then, YOU have repeatedly stated that the earth will be DESOLATE for 1000 years.
That means you have completely disregarded the fact that there will be HUMANS who were saved during the Tribulation and lived through it. The saints who are on Earth when Christ returns will remain on Earth to enter the millennial kingdom in their natural bodies.
Please, for your benefit, read
Matthew 25:31-46. This passage is commonly called the separation or judgment of the sheep and the goats. The sheep and goats refer to righteous and unrighteous Gentiles. Christ will judge the unrighteous Gentiles (goats), and they will be cast into the lake of fire for eternal punishment. Therefore, no unbelieving Gentile will survive to live on into the millennial kingdom.
The righteous Gentiles, or sheep, will live on into the millennial kingdom.
Now, since that is exactly what Jesus said, DID HE LIE??????
If this is what will happen but YOU say that the earth will be DESOLATE, what then is the reason for the Judgment of Nations??????
The believers who are human and live through the Tribulation will enter the 1000 year rule of Christ ON THE EARTH and will give birth to children and will populate the Earth.
DETAILS MATTER my friend!
Now to complicate your theology even more......Then the New Jerusalem, The Holy City of God which is in fact the BRIDE OF CHRIST does not come down after Armageddon!
It does not come down until the 1000 years Earthly Rule of Christ in over.
Revelation 20:7...………
"
And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison."
Then the Great White Throne Judgment of the lost of all the ages takes place in Rev. 20:11-15...………
"And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."
THEN the next chronological ordered event is Rev. 21:1-2...……..
"And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband."
Chapters 21 and 22 take place AFTER the 1000 year rule of Christ!
You see, Bible detail certainly do matter don't they????
