• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Crazy - by SEAL

I really like Seal's music. I've recently heard a remake of the song 'crazy' by some gal. Did a pretty good job though..

I once listened to Seal.:sorry:

So anyways, at this very moment ... what are you listening to?

Truthfully, I've been listening to my husband snore for about an hour now. Things are a bit quiet right now, except for the sounds of gunshot emanating from an old Jimmy Stewart western on TV.

I love music very much, but tonight's not the night I guess:).

You know, actually, I like the melody of his songs more than anything, it's the melodies that draw me too them. See, I have this thing called synethsesia where I see some things as colors, such as some sounds - I can see them. A 'blending of the senses' is the best way to describe it. My dad has it also - he sees letters as colors and numbers also I believe. I see the days of the week - months of the year and some music also, as colors. I can hear them but I can also see them simultaneously as well - especially progressive tone changes, like in the beginning of the song 'Crazy' by Seal.

I've heard there are different degrees and forms of this condition. Some people can actually taste shapes..

My playlist tonight is filled with various DownTempo I got free off of www.Ampcast.com :) - There are still ways to get free music without Filesharing ;)

Oh, plus some Drum-n-Bass by FourierWaveDevice (also free from their website @ www.Fourierwavedevice.com )

Incidentally, if anyone is into that sort of things, an excellent Podcast to subscribe to is DavesLounge. At his website www.daveslounge.com he adds all the lnks to the groups webpages...and from there you can usually download a few of their tracks for free....nice way to get a great colelction of top notch unsigned Downtempo and chillout bands.....just FYI :)

I got to hear it for a good couple of hours when i was heading down to florida almost two months ago.

the DJ's sounded like idiots (normal) but they played a lot of music and a good variety. :)
