I forgot to ask the most important questions: What was Father Groschel like in person? What was serving mass with him like? How did your meeting come about?

He's a very gentle kind of guy, kind of short.

I was at a retreat with my best friend in Scranton, PA (at scranton university, a jesuit school) and the final thing of the retreat was a huge Mass... I had no idea he was coming, but he was there. and he and a couple others celebrated Mass, and I had previously offered to serve Mass with another guy... Fr. Groeschel gave the homily....
it was nice, I was kind of in ecstasy the whole time.

another time he came to a youth 2000 and gave a homily at one Mass there. it was lovely. he's a great speaker.

He always comes off as very gentle. I think he's probably the only person alive today whom I've seen on television and said "This man is going to be named a Saint one day, or at least should be.". I feel kind of honored just to get to watch his show every week. I say only person *still* living, because I got a similar sense about John-Paul II towards the very end of his life.

I saw the music video to it yesterday.

I have never seen the video, I don't get to see that many as they don't show them over here, I can only see them on CMT on the net and sometimes they don't play.

Thank Heavens for Ebay, if I didn't buy my CD's on there I wouldn't have half the ones I have now!

I think one of my favorite country songs would be "used to the pain" by tracy lawrence he's got a GREAT cd and a really nice voice to listen to...
