• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

that is a good song :)

but One Week is even better :angel: if only someone could talk fast enough to actually be able to sing the whole song :p
One Week is good, but their best album by far is Gordon, and If I Had A Million Dollars will always be their best song.

Red Dirt Road

:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

it's where i drank my first beer
it's where I found Jesus
where i wrecked my first car - I tore it all to pieces
i learned the path to heaven is full of sinners and believers
learned that happiness on earth aint just for high achievers
i've learned i've come to know
there's life at both ends of that red dirt road

:)

You are one exciting guy!

You should have heard some of the comments people have given me while watching Father Groschel's show... "But, but, it's just this old guy staring at the camera mumbling stuff", "Did you lose the remote?". :) They just don't understand. :)

Wow, you're quite lucky. He's easily my favorite living religious television personality. I try to watch his show almost every week and have practically memorized some of his stories about death and Einstein. :) I've even been reading one of his books lately, which is pretty good as well. It's from back in 1986 and guess who designed the cover? Father John Lynch! Those two are like Batman and Robin or Frodo and Sam or something. :) It looks as though they've been good friends for a really long time. :)

wow. i remember when that song was popular... that was a few years ago ;)

I know. :) It still holds up well, though. :) It's not one of those CDs that I take out and say "What in the world was I thinking when I bought this?". ;)
