Looks good!

I had to look up the term "castor sugar" (at first I thought it was castor oil), because we don't use that term in the US.

You can "make" castor sugar by putting normal sugar in the blender for a few minutes.

You mean powdered sugar?

From the descriptions I found, is is superfine sugar. Not quite as powdery as powdered sugar and lacking the little bit of starch they mix into powdered sugar to keep it from fusing into a lump.

Looking at the CSR website I saw Demerara sugar. :yum: It's heavenly! Great to cook with too!

Then just put sugar in the blender until it is super fine.
Hmm... I have put sugar in the blender once with my freind but we werent making super fine sugar. The other ingrediants (besides the two cups of sugar) included eggnog, enough coffee beans to make a gallon of coffee, brown sugar, and several other sugary items. It actually tasted pretty good, but we couldnt stop bouncing off the walls for several hours...

Your forgot the rum.

You still bounce off the walls; it's just that you don't feel[/i] it.

Okay, game time!

Your task: Invent a heresy. You must provide a pseudo-Latin name for it.

This is Unorthodox Theology. Your goal is to be as unorthodox as possible, while still vaguely sorta recognizably in Christian-land.

Here's my entry (quoted from a less topical thread):

I suppose that's a new Unorthodox Theology. I'll call it "Salvation Army Universalism". In this newly invented and very unorthodox theology, the Salvation Army go to Hell for not practicing the exact right kind of baptism. Upon arriving, they organize relief efforts, set up soup kitchens, and refuse to feed demons who won't listen to a sermon. After a mere million years or so Hell has been completely taken over, and surrenders peacefully to Heaven. Everyone ends up saved.

Hey, maybe we should have a fellowship thread here where we all invent new and unorthodox theologies. But you have to make up a pseudo-latin name for your heresy. The heresy above is hereby dubbed soterioexercitusdamnoreciprocalism.

Curtism! From the latin curto which means to shorten or abbreviate.

Curtists inists that everything important can be shortened into one sentence. The idea is that if a little child can't understand it, then it is not important. Truth can be determined by what is simpler to understand.

The motto for Curtist's is "Jesus Good, Satan bad." That is, until someone can find a simpler one.

A friend of mine once, at a party, walked into a room and said "Satan. Good idea, bad idea?"

That's two Sentences. Therefore, according to curtism it is demonstrably false. :p

Admittedly one of those sentences lacks a verb and a subject, and the two could be rewritten as one sentence; to whit:

"Satan: good idea; bad idea?" - This leaves an implicit question mark behind the semi-colon. As such it probably meets the criteria for a curt (or curtist) question.

You saw it here first! Swart officially inspires the curt cult! Although Seebs did contribute somewhat.

humorism from the latin umor

Psalms 32
11 Be gladin the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.

This is the belief that laughing in the face of sin or evil will keep you safe from it. This is why you used to hear such laughter from the old Porno Theaters (unless PeeWee Herman was there he laughed for another reason). It is not know if the is also the reason for hearing loud laughter from houses now that porno on the internet is so common and putting "those" theaters out of business.;)
