  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

AmyR00, those first weeks are yucky! You could try shopping for nursing bras online?

I actually did get out of the house to shop for bras and they had none in my size. Is 36 F really that unusual? I just ordered 2 online, I hope they fit.

did you have a c-section?

i know what ya mean about the bleeding..with luke i bled 7 straight weeks..and it was pretty heavy the first few of those weeks. This time..with anna..the bleeding has been much lighter and easier since day 1..so i am hoping i wont bleed for as long this time!!

Yes, I did have a c-section. I haven't been bleeding very heavily, but it's very sporadic. There will be nothing for a few days and then it will start again. I was caught unprepared last week at church and bled through my pants. :doh:I was so embarrassed.

Justin FINALLY rolled over today on his own...and then he wouldn't quit! LOL...he's SO CUTE! I know I am out of trimester four...but I had to share! I thought he would be walking before he finally rolled over! lol

Wow that's great! LOL you say it like he's 7 months or something, Elijah hasn't done it yet and doesn't have a lot of interest in it. He'll get to his side but that's all and honestly I think he's going to crawl before he turns over. My friend's baby actually did that...I guess we'll see.

I had the same issue after my c-section. It would stop and I would think I was done but it would come right back the next day totally unexpected. I wore a liner for a few days after it stopped just to be sure! I bled longer than I was told I would, that was really annoying!

A common culprit of extended bleeding is too much activity--and of particular danger is vacuuming, as well as sweeping and mopping. Vaccuming in particular ought to be avoided for 6-8 weeks--because the motion coupled with the weight of the vacuum.

Drinking 3 cups of RRL tea throughout the first 6 weeks post partum helps the uterus involute most efficiently.

I have been doing this too, but with my first c-section I didn't do that.

My parents are in town this week helping out with Mary and Christian. My mom bought me 3 nursing bras, as I didn't have any. And I am having the same problem as you Amy, I couldn't find them in my size so I had to go with one two sizes smaller and use an extender. Though I know your issue is with finding the cup size mine was the number size.
