  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I was freezing my hubby out the whole time I was pregnant...now he swears we live in a sauna! lol poor guy doesnt stand a chance! I don't get to cuddle with him anymore so all I can really do is crank up the heat...of course, I tend more toward being cold-natured anyway even though winter is my favorite time of year. I get cold easy, but I would MUCH rather be cold than hot.

I look at robert and wonder that he was ever too small for some of his clothes... I need to find the picture that was taken a few weeks after he got out of the hospital and scan it ina and show how small he was... got plenty from the hospitl, with tubes and iv's and wires and all everywhere... may just wind up posting one of those... and now he is in the 95th % for both height and weight...

Ethan grew out of newborn when he was about five weeks, he's still in 0-3 months and he's 3 months old today. The clothes say to 11lbs and he's 12.5lbs and they still fit. We do run into the problem of 0-3 month clothes being too short and 3-6 month being overall too large. Carters makes longer skinnier clothes while the walmart brand is shorter and wider.

I'm out of the 4th trimester as of today. :( My baby's getting big!

This talk about baby clothes sizes is funny to me. My older son was born too big for newborn size and grew out of 0-3 months at 4 weeks. My 11 months old still wears 6-9 month size mostly although he's starting to get into the 9-12 month stuff. They were both born in the winter but I can hardly re-use anything from my older son for my younger because of the difference in their sizes.

Yes its so hard to guess what size they are going to be.... when buying clothes for this little one I'm sort of guessing/scratching my head about what to buy because she's end-of-winter and what on earth size will she be in the summer?? All a guess, but I got a couple really cute summer things so I hope I guessed right!!

So hubby and I have recently decided that I am going to start trying to breastfeed. I talked to LLL and they said I could and gave me some pointers...so please just keep us in your prayers that maybe Bf'ing will make a difference in his little digestive system.

I think it's so great that you are willing to do something that at first you weren't comfortable with for the benefit of your son. You definitely get good mama points for that

Oh that definitely will be good for his digestive system! Its going to be hard though, starting late.... have you called the LLL to find out when their meetings are? They would be a great support too, and you'll probably need to buy a pump to help with the production of breastmilk, have you done that?

He probably just doesn' tknow what to do right now, breastfeeding is harder than eating from a bottle. He has to develop sucking skills.
