It was rather odd to have the victory just described rather than shown. I guess that is part of centering it on Clara's POV.

So what did we think of the orient express episode?

It was *tiring*. Reminded me of the Lazlo episode way back when, and the Wasp episode. Also, mummies?! I'd rather them wait for the Halloween episode.

Anyway, it was okay, but the ending a bit weird. I wonder what REALLY happened??

Well the writing has improved, back in " who" territory but still seems to be the Clara Oswald show...did I miss a memo somewhere?

I think maybe there was a memo missed somewhere! LOL I can't figure out where this is all going with the Missy thing. And why was Clara so impressed she made a "good" doctor?

I think they could have made more of missy in the series like at least one death going to wherever she is throughout the series.

A moments silence I think to pay our respects to the late Lynda Bellingham who played the Inquisitor in Trial of a Timelord, who died today having lost a battle with cancer.

I had read that she was ill, but it is sad to hear of her death. It would have been great to see more of her (except, unfortunately, Gallifrey is time-locked.) I loved the Gallifrey stories.
