That sounds good. I have not tried it that way. We usually keep it in the shuck and grill it. As long as it's roasted regardless of how it's done, I'm sure it's good!

And home-made ice cream-the perfect treat!

I just came back from a weekend of being sooooo sick. But anyway seeing that there is a cook out going on. I thought I would bring along so horseshoes to toss. (sorry I'm origianlly from the south and we never have a cookout without playing horseshoes.)

Yeah, it's that whole "Love thy neighbor" thing. Even if thy neighbor brings a green bean casserole! (Just teasin' ya a bit, bigsierra!)

My pastor made a great analogy yesterday: He was talking about getting along with each other in the church and he said just like you can't pick your family, you can't pick God's roster at church. I think that also goes for Church with a capital "C". For the most part, we don't pick whose sitting beside us. Might as well learn to love them and get along best you can.
