  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

There seems to be variations, but the kind I made involved:

bread
mayonnaise
prepared mustard
slices of cooked ham
slices of cooked turkey
a slice of Swiss cheese
an egg
some milk

Spread the mayo and mustard on the bread. Stack the turkey, ham and swiss cheese in the sandwich. Dip in the egg/milk mix (both sides) and fry in the skillet (kind of like french toast). :yum:

Here's the recipe.

Hate to leave the table for a few days, but hubby and I are heading up into the mountains to a b-n-b for a wwk (weekend without kids). After 13 years of marriage I think we are entitled, don't you?

Will bring more food, or call for pizza when I return. Have a nice weekend--I plan to <g>

Have a great weekend. It sounds like it will be awesome. The mountains are beautiful this time of year.

Weekend's going ok. It's been low key so far, which is a good thing for a change. I'm getting nervous though. I am teaching my adult Sunday school class tomorrow. I taught 1-2 grade SS for 12 years. I took a break this year beause I wanted to just be in a SS class. Now the teacher of the adult class has asked me to help teach some. I've never taught adults.

How's yours?

/me goes to get some apple dumplings and ice cream to top off the evening....

My weekend is so-so. Both the older kids caught a bug of some kind and have been having fevers off and on since Thursday. We might not make it to church tomorrow, when we have our annual children's day. We missed the last one, last year because we had bugs then, too.... :sigh:

It's so much fun, too. Dumb colds!
