OOC: The City of Ember (NEW MEMBERS NEEDED!)

Alright. I was gonna turn it into a big revenge thing, but I guess I cant do that anymore. Since Dagrin is not going to be of much use or entertainment anymore... Star, would it be ok if I brought in my other character idea? His name is Kalt-Hammer(pronounced KahltHahmmer. KaltHammer is Cold Hammer in german.) Basically your big, brutish mercenary kinda guy, lots of armor, broken manacles on his wrists, greatmaul(frikin big hammer), horned greathelm, yeah. The works. Not nearly as much fun to hate as Dagrin, but he will atleast be able to do something, since Dagrin is going to get himself frozen if he so much as looks at a woman again, or atleast that is the assumption.

Thats the idea. Ember is full of scum like Dag, if not WORSE. Al is going to have his work cut out for him if he is gonna freeze EVERY jerk like Dagrin in the city. And no, most characters ARE good, or atleast not evil.

That's fine if you want to get rid of Dagrin, THAT bit is up to you. This new introduction of a character shall be the assistant General with Bonky. I think having a military genius and a hard core fighter as Generals will even things out a bit. One to plan, the other train. If that is fine with Mega's characters and Sampsom X's as well.

Also, WoF...they're not DEEP...they're just....different. I suppose being afraid of nothing is a gift after all, but it would be nice to have SOMETHING to overcome. More than likely as I grow up, I'll find things I never even knew about I can't stand. You never know. Life has its own ironies....doesn't it?

Well, he wont be much fun if he's gonna get killed the second he so much as utters a pickup line. I'm not going to have him die off quite yet, but if it is alright I will just have him wandering about, thus no longer needed to be spoken of in the RP, thus making room for Kalt-Hammer.

You know what sux? I thought for sure Dagrin was gonna stay evil, but this time someone else MADE him be good. Man, its like I'm just not meant to do villains...

I recently read a story, of which the opera I also saw, called Thais (pronounced Ti-ee-s) by Anatole France. The story follows a very pious hermit/monk and his slow corruption. The ending was most surprising to me. And the progression of events did seem logical, despite the fact that they were evil. I think you should read it, but with cation. It is...dangerous if you are open-minded completely to it. It could corrupt YOU. No joke.

On another subject, Dagrin COULD return...*hint hint*...sometime. Don't know when or why, but I do not see his dissapearance a good thing for the thread. Do not kill him

I doubt that I am anywhere near incapable of evil. Not with all the evil plans I think up, but never get to use. However, in most cases I wouldnt have the guts to do half of the stuff...

I may have to check it out. Dont worry, I will atleast bring Dagrin back for a little bit. You'll see what I mean.

Are you planning on staying in 'the consi', or will you temporarily abandon 'the consi' and move to 'the city of Ember' while you are in Ember?

That is an exelent question....

OK. I have it. We shall 'abbandon' the Consi thread temporarily to post our misadventure to Ember. Once clear of the city, we shall resume posting in the Consi thread. The Ember adventure may last for a month IRT...so I'll periodially post in there so it will not dissappear, as threads do if no posts are made after a certain amount of time.

We may, however, find some sort of other means to keep the Consi active. Perhaps the group will split off to go warn the elves. Maybe even the Elven side of the war could be conducted in the Consi thread!!! That would make more sense and keep post numbers to a minium.

Characters, esspecially during the war, will alternate between threads. This makes more sense. I shall repost this in the Ember thread and I wish everyone to post their thoughts on this.

And Lady Knight. You were the inn keeper yes? Soon the people from the Consi will need the inn. I suggest fixing up the inn back together after the fire (yes....there WAS a fire). You can have been busy putting it out.

Just start posting orders to the barmaids and waiters. That's what I suggest. Get the place spick and span for the Consi and her anterage.

I'm really sorry, I didnt mean to come across like that. I would love to have it be that easy, but part of the fear is not knowing what is down there. You know what I mean? There could be a dead body floating up, some carnivorous fish, the Lady of the Lake, Leonardo de Caprio((AAAAH!!!! The horror!!!!)), ya. I know it sounds really stupid, but I cant really control what I have unnatural fears of. Its that fear of the unkown kind of thing, you know? Its like.. a primordial kind of fear.

Okay, I'm not so sure about the elves having 'The Consi'. I kinda think that the elves and Emberians should stay in the same thread. I mean, if someone came along with an Elven siege engineer and shoots a rock at Borky or Xhile (who would dare attack Everel? Huh? Huh? Huh.....?) how would they know how to react?

Ok, that was dumb... but if the elves break through the walls, how would the Emberians know? There could be Elves running through the streets breaking heads like melons but the defenders are still drinking tea.

Also, just how is this war supposedley going to start. If I knew this, it would make it a lot easier to make a plan that my character can propose to Everel. Thanks

Our general idea is that the elves will strike first with a siege against the city, and if the Emberians are still alive then they will invade the forest.

My little brainchild (big brainchild being the war, if I'm using 'brainchild' correctly) is that a small group of baddies will go and attempt to assassinate the Elven Emperor. Who's interested?

And Mega...*sigh*...YOU are hopeless. We need to the Elven and the Emberian forces seperate until they collide. If need be we could make A WHOLE NOTHER THREAD. However, I see this as unneccary.

My PLAN was to have all the stuff going on (Elven or Emberian) IN Ember take place in the City of Ember thread.

And all the things going on (Elven or Emberian) OUT of Ember (such as the cities and camps of the Elves) in the Consi Thread...keeping things equal.

With this in place, only a few characters will migrate between the two, such as Xhile and any messangers/spies. Like in a real war, the only information that each side will have is from a network of spies IN BOTH THREADS and who will report back to the other. Hence neither side can know what is going on for real and one thread is not cluttered. Also, false or true information can be relayed properly and with "real" quality as if this was a war.

It makes sense to me so just nodd and say "Yes...you are a genius! Let us wash your feet!" ...not for real...but you get the idea. IF THERE ARE ANY QUESTIONS...ASK THEM!!! Don't just "What??" lol...*cough*
