We are stuck on getting saved... ok, you're saved...now what? Time to take down the tent we pitched at the cross, and pick up the cross and move on in a wonderful journey.

I agree. But one's understanding of their salvation makes a profound difference to how they walk thereafter. What the cross means, what a believer realizes that it accomplishes for them, affects enormously the future character of their relationship with God.

Selah.

we all fall down and sometimes move away from God's fellowship. God will bring us back to his fold if we wonder away. If one can lose his/her salvation, Heaven would likely be a lonely place without any of us there. I have prayed to God in my past to just take away my free will so that I would not fall out of his grace of which is impossible for any human being on this planet. I think the notion of losing your salvation is just bad to the core. Jesus died for our sins and I ask him to enter my heart every single day. People tend to pick and choose verses from the Bible to support their inner beliefs and thoughts. If you find look at ALL verses in the Bible and not select a handful to support your reasoning, then we as Christians can be assured of eternal life always.

I can come at this two ways from my own personal experience. I first became saved at three years old, I remember feeling love for Jesus and at the prompting of my Christian mother asking him to come into my heart. A bunch of things then happened whereby I grew up, suffered abused, trauma, got involved in the satanic and occult and severely lost my way. I stopped believing in Jesus completely. As a result his presence and Spirit left my life and I resulted in being unsaved. In order to be set free I actually had to say the sinners prayer again and invite Jesus back into my heart, because he had left a long time ago.

So, I lost my salvation, and had to regain it. Now, the other way you could look at this is that Jesus never forsake me. It didn't matter what I got myself involved in, he drew me back to his Heart, and he always had his hand on me. I've heard that happening a lot with others who have similar stories to myself. So it makes me question whether we can really lose our salvation. Theoretically, yes, but God tends to cause us to be reconverted again. So in the end we were never truly lost..
Your testimony is really amazing, and your emotions are not imagined as one said below.

I agree with you-- those who have had a prior relationship with God ( young or what have you) I do think God does draw you back to himself when you stray.. You just cant stop thinking about him and want to give him one last try..

However this doesn't work for everyone as the person has to be willing...

And I think everything could be summed up like this. Only God has the power to give is salvation that's all God... But his holy spirit hives us the strength to run the race and equip us and gives us the desire to do right..
Because without gods spirit we wouldn't even want to do right, we wouldn't know how in our natural mind.

So yes we must work hard to make sure we preserve ( with Gods help) BC if we give up...thats it...because salvation is an ongoing process...it doesn't end with your alter call.

It is not lonely if only YHWH or Y'SHUA is present ! :)

It is few people though, on earth TODAY, and in heaven later -even if it is a few billion people, JESUS says "FEW find the NARROW road to life; and MANY are (and willingly remain ) ON THE WIDE ROAD TO DESTRUCTION.

So, if it's lots of people or popularity on earth someone is in, it is not YHWH'S KINGDOM.
Never has it many much of the population,
except twice in history.

And TODAY, it is worse than ever before, and getting worse until Y'SHUA RETURNS.

I wish there was an option to vote 'not sure'.

On one hand I know I have fallen away several times over the years. On the other there is that I always feel a 'tug' or 'pull' to come back to faith. The question is if I continually ignore that 'pull' would it ever stop or will it always be there?

Hard to say and I don't concern myself with worrying about it as scripture is quite clear and warns us to stay on the right path. Those warnings probably wouldn't be necessary if we were 'always' saved. But who knows.

A lot of the warnings are over the fact that You lose rewards and you take a beat down by God our Father or as is stated he disciplines his children .. If Jesus PROMISES to finish the work he started in you or in all those that Have called on his name NOTHING you do will prevent his work from being completed ..people just do not seem to want to accept this ..they somehow feel to say that a person will now just go out and rape kill pillage .. which beyond stupid lol .. The point is there is NO fine print either Jesus lied and will stop working on you or he has told the truth and will complete what he started ..

He can work on you while you are in church out of church during sleep where ever he wants YOU are the church ..he is in you he works continually in you ..

Unfortunately, when it comes to the teachings of Jesus on this topic. The argument can go both ways. Otherwise this topic would not have been in debate since John Calvin introduced it in the 16th century.
Well right there is the problem. John Calvin.
Otherwise, Jesus didn't equivocate. Christian = Christ like. Not John like.

Amein. As it is written.
Since it is written in Revelation that the whole world REFUSES to turn to YHWH, that they REFUSE to STOP WORSHIPING (serving) DEMONS,
who could even question this ?

Really? Do you know that the doctrine of OSAS wasn't even a thing prior to John Calvin? The Roman Catholic Church, The Eastern Orthodox, and even Martin Luther did not believe in OSAS. Did you ever think that perhaps OSAS is part of "Satan's toll on the world"? Perhaps it is Satan's plan to cause Christians to feel so comfortable with their salvation that there would be no reason to submit to His Lordship.
No, I think if Satan had a role it was to inspire his angels to take on human form and hope to lead the Saints astray by imparting a fear paradigm teaching into the world. One that says, Jesus failed on the cross. That he really didn't die in order to give the eternal life and salvation that his ministry taught. And that being we were sinners before repentance, and Satan is lord of this world, we're able to be called sinners even after we're re-born sin free.

Jesus didn't equivocate. His teachings were alive before any human institution attempted to put their name on his truth and speak as if their translation was a unique addition to be added onto the truth Jesus came to deliver from God the Father. As if a post script bearing a surname of a mortal egoist would make Jesus' words mean more to those who heard or read it.

God knows his own.
And God created Satan. So he knows who Satan corrupted and converted too.

That is why we are instructed to live in the world and not of the world.

I don't know if this ever happened,
but it wouldn't have to happen that way (it's not required for demons nor angels to take on human form to deceive the whole world) - the devil has enough human subjects
completely under his control to do the devil's dirty work outwardly,
and plenty of evil spirits or demons to tempt everyone daily in their minds, et al.

We were created with free will. If we can accept salvation we can also deny it...
God in his foreknowledge, being he is eternal and all knowing, saw those types coming too. 1 John 2:19. They were alive even when Jesus walked the Earth.

Jesus calls those whom he knows to his truth. And we will never perish. When Jesus says that, we cannot choose to overcome his plan and will in our lives. John 10:28.
John 3:1-36
Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. This man came to Jesus by night and said to him, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God, for no one can do these signs that you do unless God is with him.” Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Nicodemus said to him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?” Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. ...

2 Peter 2:1-3
But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of truth will be blasphemed. And in their greed they will exploit you with false words. Their condemnation from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.

God did NOT create Satan...God created Lucifer and he was created an angel with free will. Lucifer created Satan by choosing to serve evil instead of God.

Angel, from the Latin, angelus, and the Greek, angelos= messenger, envoy.

We were created with free will. If we can accept salvation we can also deny it...

You can only accept Him if God first puts it in your heart to. we are dead from sin dead people cannot accept, deny a thing unless first God puts the spark of life of spiritual life in us ..at this time we accept him the only way to do that to know to believe is by the grace of god and our acceptance is put there like what is 2 plus 2 you answer 4 you cannot say 5 because you do not actually believe it is 5 ..we accept because we are told it is true by God and we believe him so NOT by us, we have NO part in getting ourselves saved solo Dio Gloria, all glory to god, we can not and will not be able to boast of anything we did to help make us saved. Christ did all the work on the cross and will complete all the work in us.

So after you have accepted him he promises to finish the work in you he started how bumpy a ride may be up to you though..so either Jesus is lying or will finish the work he started in you ..Again Notice that we do not even have a part in this as well, HE will finish this our works our faith HE gives he does

I would suggest you study scripture to find the truth . What you've just said is not that. Close, but not that.
