Hi, everyone.Peggy!! Where ya been?!!
Surgery went as planned yesterday, and I am back at home. Everything went well so I should be back to normal soon. Thank you all so much for thinking of me and keeping me in your prayers. It means more than you know.
My love and Christ's Peace to all of you.![]()

Yes, I'm doing very well. I had the stent (sp?) removed today and I already feel much better.
I'm going to be doing some tests in the next week that should tell them if something I'm eating or drinking is contributing to the problem. But the main problem is that I have a 'sponge' (?) kidney. It doesn't work actively, it just kinda sits there and the only thing making it work is gravity. The doctor said that this will be a problem for the rest of my life and the only thing to help it is to drink at least 3 liters of fluid a day. Ack!Otherwise, stuff will just continue to build up in there.

Now that sounds like fun alright. They say drinking lots of water helps your kidneys work better but all it does is make me throw the water back up. I've tried taking sips every 15 minutes, drinking a small glass every 30 minutes, yadda yadda. I still end up getting sick. Fluids are not my friends.
Amy, that iced tea thing sounds familiar to me. I think I've heard that before. Amazing how one thing like that can cause your body such problems.
Sandy, let us know how the tests go and what they discover.
