CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The difference here is similar. Many are willing to require a woman to give up control of her body, but they are not willing to take the slightest effort themselves to save other's lives. And the difference in burden is comprable to teh difference between a jet or at least a car and a shirt!

Which responsibility does that worldview absolve me of exactly? Is it the responsibility to love God with all my heart soul and strength? Or the responsibility to love my neighbor as myself?
Jesus demonstrated that responsibility when He went to the cross to die for His enemies. How much less responsible would you say that act was than wanting to take a baby's life because of inconvenience?

I just sort of stepped out of this conversation. I don't know what I am talking about. I just see abortion and get angry about it. I open my mouth and start looking at stuff. I don't know what is right anymore. I am against abortion and heavy hearted about covid. God is God of justice and healing. He will take care of this stuff. I have to stay out of the conversations for my own peace of mind right now, and that is okay. Just God heal America and set things right. Yall have a good day...
