I don't do anything with that. He shouldn't be divulging that sort of info anyways IMO. He's not even an ET moderator. Ignore it.

In the meantime, I say WE stop reporting and then we can see who's really causing all the trouble. If you see something that's a violation, I say we PM the ET Admins and ask their opinion.

You guys are probably going to kick me out of the forum but the majority of the reports being generated could have been prevented. There are many ways to express our views and defend our positions that do not involve addressing the poster. Frankly, I find it that, when a defense of a belief degenerates into a personal emotional attack, the defense has already been lost. There is no need to flame or call people by name or call groups by name. We can defend and win simply by addressing the issue and not the poster.

Well he's probably right about that, but that's because there are obviously people who have joined the membership for the purpose of causing trouble, not because they support conservative theology.

I perused the Ecumenical reports too........

IMO, close off CCC to members only for a 2 week cooling off period. Spite reports and posters should be banned. Non-CC mods need to butt out.
*I say gether a team of conservative Mods and Admins who have a conservative track record and call a council to come in here and talk to us, let us be heard without interferance from non-cc members to work this out.

And by the way, you're right. (but not all those were RV's as I recall) - alot of it was spite & they weren't violations. (& 2 shouldn't of been )

I draw a dividing line with liberals into 2 camps. The unsaved and those who claim to be Christian.

I don't divide from the lost - I'm not called to "not sit with sinners". I keep my liberal friends and feel no guilt and I know there's nothing wrong with that. I love them dearly.

Those claiming Christianity yet preaching another gospel than that which I'm taught?
I divide it there. Biblically, God tells us to for a reason.

How does it look to the weak Christian when we sit & chat with them as "buddies" yet warn them, "don't learn from them"???
If we make them our friends, then we also teach that they aren't any danger either.

How does it look to new Christians, the weak? I think it sets a contradictory message.

I dont mean this to down anyone, but if we dont see the problems fo rwhat they are they can never be fixed.

We can all be a part of the solution, working together to protect CC and its members, and we should act now imho.

This sentence as written is a flame because it divides liberals into ONLY 2 camps. The unsaved and those who claim to be Christians. The problem is not what Nadiine said is how she said it. The rules of this website are specific to the extend that you cannot call someone unchristian if they claim to be a Christian. This is not an attack on Nadiine but it is a violation based on the site rules. We as mods have to rule reports ONLY from the standpoint of the rules otherwise it would not be unbiased.

That was a conservative statement -- even Simon Templar noted on the report that was correct in language.
If we cannot speak in conservative "lingo"... why are we here?
