OK I'll stop now. It's not that I think this is best place to live, only that it is my favorite.
We often did the I-71 trek from Cincinnati to Cleveland and rarely stopped in Columbus. One place where we ended up for a weekend at a footie tournament was a place called Easton. It was great! All those trips and we discovered it in our last month there.

What is a "Footie"?

Easton is very commercial. I live about 8 miles NE of it.

I'm from Ohio. The Miami Valley, about 35 mins from Dayton and about an hour from Columbus. Not much around here, we do have a nice YMCA and sports fields. Other than that for anything fancy or more we travel to the bigger cities. We have alot of churchs, only thing we are missing is a Temple. Lol. My town is a religious town, but nothing way over the top.

Anyone else from Champaign, Clark, or Logan county?

Clark County became very famous here in the UK during the last presidential election campaign :)

Really? Why is that?

Oh wait duh, didn't President Bush come to Springfield? I can't remember.
Apparently, it was the most marginal county in a bellweather state.

A British newspaper gave out addresses of Clark County voters, so that Brits could write to them personally and attempt to influence their vote.

Oh yeah...For awhile there, Dayton was also famous in the UK because Diana's brother met and is now involved with a local (now former) newscaster. They met when he brought the Diana Exhibit to our Art Institute. That was a FABULOUS display. Anyone see it?

It's public domain, isn't it? Failing that, they can easily get a list of homeowners from the County website.
The list of homeowners yes, The list of registered voters however is not in the public domain. Although admittedly the two lists are probably very similar.

Woooo! Ohio love. I just wanted to say hi.

I never realize how many people live in Ohio. I always feel like we sort of sink into the background...but I guess we don't.

Anyway. I'm hailing from Akron.

Cool to see so many people on here. whoooosh!
