Thank you so much for this post.Anxiety certainly is a lot of trouble, I can agree with that. God understands and cares about your anxiety enough to ask you to cast your anxieties on Him as told by 1 Peter 5:7. What I usually do is vent to God when I am alone. Yes, I am brought to tears by the end of it but it feels so much better to do so than to bottle it all up just to please a worldly culture of masculinity. God is above our ways, traditions and values.
An observation I made is that King Saul was said to be tormented by evil spirits and was calmed down by David playing the lyre. It was last year I managed to help my mother's panic attack by playing a lyre song called "Hurrian Hymn #6" on my phone. I suspect King Saul was suffering from an anxiety attack and needed music to calm his nerves. The Bronze Age people at the time probably didn't know how to describe a panic/anxiety attack.
Don't feel ashamed about your anxiety. God is aware that mental health problems exist as he's the guy who designed the brain, the most complex organ in the human body to which we as humans still know least about.
Perhaps some music can help ease your anxiety? This helped my mother when she was having a panic attack like I said earlier.
