This entire thread? The whole basis of your silly hopalong argument is that this is all a massive violation of the rights of Catholics, when you yourself are not Catholic and most Catholics don't actually view this as a violation of their rights.
But, of course, in Mach's World, only Mach gets to speak for an entire group of people and decide what is and is not a right.
No tension here. I just wrote it off as us operating under entirely different models after you said that it was fine to fire someone for their religion and that doctors could endanger people's lives by refusing to treat someone if they (religiously) disagreed with some aspect of the patient's behavior or life choices.
We obviously have VASTLY differing definitions of what a "right" is.
