CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Native New Yorker here. Lower East Side of Manhattan.

Hi yall... Im actually from California but Im movin to Ny sometime soon... im hoping september.... or january.... I was just in Upstate NY visiting my adopted momma a few weeks ago and loved it there. Gosh now i know why Cali doesnt have trees... Yall got em! LOL I cant wait to get back out there... Cali is not my home anymore. Im gonna be in the Plattsburgh area. God Bless yall!

I'm in the Corning area...in a little dinky town called Bath. I know where Hilton is...used to have a friend up there. I lived in Rochester for a year a couple years ago. Well, North Chili really, I was going to school at Roberts Wesleyan. I know LeTourneau also, have camped there a couple of times & I worked there for a summer...best summer job I ever had.

Although I live in Michigan now, I was born and raised in western NY. A Small town on Lake Ontario called Lyndonville. halfway between Niagara Falls and Rochester.
