Ok back, sorry. I had poured some chemical down the drain and it was ONLY supposed to be left in there 10 minutes and I left it in too long...oops.

Anyway, you sound like ME when I was a teenager (even though you're older than a teen). I had poor self-esteem as well. But, I was a lot harder on myself and didn't see the truth that the things I believed about myself weren't always truthful.

Women realize that men get hurt, but we don't always SEE how the way it affects them later on as they tend to hide away and not let us view the painful reactions. We KNOW they're hurting but don't really know that they're starving themselves or overeating or crying their eyes out. But we do know they're hurting. Does that help in explaining?
