Their heart yes, but demonstrated by their actions; for God impartially judges our hearts by our actions - the lifestyle we lead.

People can have wonderful actions, and amazingly generous lifestyles, but very sad motives.

1 Samuel 16:7
But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”

Matthew 6:21
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Proverbs 4:23
Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.

With the new covenant change is expected, because change is given. We don't have to put to death the deeds of the flesh even though we now have the means to do so by the Spirit (Rom 8:13). For all practical purposes we don't have to even care if we're forgiven. If a person, forgiven of sin, continues to sin, especially in some persistent, grave manner, they're mocking God and the work of His Son.

Unless God is the accomplice of our every moment, we all persistently continue to sin.
Sorry. We are all still on the hook for our sins.

Yes, that's what I said-and that's what the church has always taught. My post probably wasn't so clear tho.

I agree. That does not negate the fact that God judges the heart by our actions in real life, just as the Passages I quoted clearly show. God cuts down every tree that does not bear good fruit.

God judges each person by their actions in real life. No one whose heart is bad, will live a lifestyle that is good. A good tree bears good fruit.

A person may seem nice, and do good in pubic, but God knows what such people do, think, and feel in private.

I see now. Yes, we’re all on the hook for our sin, which is why Jesus gives us the power, the grace, to overcome sin now.
He overcame sin, without our help or getting involved.

God does not judge by appearance's or any actions.
Though your actions might indicate your faith. They might not.
Picking up a poor person from a ditch could have 100's of motives.
Giving money to the poor could have 100's of motives.

Actions mean nothing concrete.

He overcame sin, without our help or getting involved.
He doesn't need our help for anything. He wants our participation anyway, however, for our own highest good, which He always has in mind. He overcomes, He takes away, sin in us.
"If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:6-9

"Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness. But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin. No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him. Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. The one who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous. The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work. No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God. This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not God’s child, nor is anyone who does not love their brother and sister." 1 John 3:4-10

The New Covenant is not only about forgiveness and the remission of sins, but of our being made a new creation, finally able, by union with God, to be who He created us to be. With Christ's sacrifice, God doesn't suddenly decide to ignore the sin that leads to death but rather to give us the life that triumphs over it.

That's nice you feel that way but a number of my relatives were stillborn....so...
Action doesn't count for anything.

Sooo...because some are stillborn the bible and the gospel have no purpose, since there's aparrently no reason to appeal to man through God's word? There's no real reason for those gifted with more time and opportunity to heed the admonitions, the warnings, the exhortations and encouragements to believe, to obey, to be perfect, to refrain from sin, to put to death the deeds of the flesh, to love etc, etc? Because of stillborns we're all off the hook, not morally accountable?? There's a principle in morality: a person is accountable for what they know and are capable of doing. And its reflected here:
"But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked." Luke 12:48

The parable of the talents sheds light on this as well.

Mostly correct. The Bible is useful because Paul said it was useful.

Ones lifestyle, all his action in total, reveal your heart before God. However, the Scriptures are clear that God judges us by our actions, as all the Scriptures teach. Who am I do argue with God or say that God is wrong for doing so?

God only judges the heart. Any other descriptions of "deeds" must be based on that fact that the reference is to "heart deeds" and not visual activity than man sees.

1 Samuel 16:7
But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”

Proverbs 15:13
A glad heart makes a cheerful face, but by sorrow of heart the spirit is crushed.

John 7:38
Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’”
