My appearance. Because it's always gotten in the way of people seeing me.

Because it has many subforums. That way I can either talk w people of very similar opinions, or w those that are of a very different frame of mind, depending on my mood.

My favorite line is from Girl, Interrupted.

Was I ever crazy? Maybe. Or maybe life is. Crazy isn't swallowing some deep, dark secret or being broken, it's you and I. If you ever wanted to be a child forever. If you ever told a lie and enjoyed it. They were not perfect, but they were my friends. Some I've seen since, some never again. But there isn't a day that goes by that my heart doesn't find them.

I can really relate to that movie. Not from being in a mental hospital, but because I know what it's like to have friends and then have to leave and then miss them.

What is your favorite book?

I have several. But, the one that always comes to mind when people ask me is A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith. It's a bitter sweet tale of heart ache and hard times, but it ends with optimism and leaves me with a good feeling. And I like that. It inspires me. And it's a good message. To keep going forward, no matter what life you're dealt, make the best of it, grab joy when you can, and never give up hope. It's very heart warming.
