That's a non answer and a deliberate evasion.
What date - to within the century - do you think the flood occurred?
Or, I'll put it another way: what date - to within the century - do you think the flood occurred according to the Bible?
"Common sense" is just the amateur's way of admitting that he is wrong.
Please show how either of these are evidence of the Flood.![]()

Evidence of flood two.
From an earlier post:Noah's ark, no matter what name you call it by - boat, ship, ark, containment vessel, simply would not have been able to float. Physics and mechanics of materials preclude its ability to do so.
Are we still on 'plastic'?
Let me change it then, just for something refreshing.
The Ark could have been made out of balsa wood if God so decreed, and it still would have accomplished its purpose.
From an earlier post:
How did they get there, if the Flood was in 2348 BC?Please show how either of these are evidence of the Flood.

Cool.Invoking magic makes you lose on the spot.
The physics and mechanics of "floating" is why the ark was indeed able to float. Floating relieves stress by supporting the entire structure equally, it doesn't impose stress. Pressure on the ark from all exterior directions would tend to strengthen the structure by compression.
Cool.
Jesus performed one miracle after another, and you're still an atheist.
Show us the math then.
What?I dont think its shown that he did no, or that he existed, well, at least not as he is portrayed in the new testament.
This is common sense, no math needed.
I´m sorry but no, common sense is not an answer as common sense mean doenst mean anything.
If you state engionering statements then support them, if you cant, well then its all hot air.
I take it that you don't understand what I've said, or just don't believe it?
I understand just fine, its you who dont understand physics and/or engineering.
You cant handwave away problems with saying "common sense" or "magic".
Then examine the principles I outlined and show me where I'm wrong.
You can certainly appeal to "It violates basic physics because I say so", but appealing to magick does not help your case. From an earlier post:
