If I have something to say and it gets deleted, that's suppressing the truth in my book. You might not consider it true, but I do, and I think other readers should have the right to judge for themselves. If I get banned or blocked for some reason, it hurts. Ask Sarah. But what you say very probably is not "the truth". You may think it is, but you could clearly be wrong. If you break the rules here it does not matter if you are right or not your post can be deleted. It has happened to me more than once. And though I was right I will also admit that I did break the rules and I agreed, as did you to follow the rules here.

Even this statement is against the rules here. I know because I have been dinged for making very similar remarks.

Then I almost spoiled my post for twitting you for being angry that an agnostic had to point out how you were "sinning" here. Anyone can report a wrong. He said he was not going to. You should have thanked him for his kind warning. Too often I have been reported by people who had no tolerance of the "truth". You were lucky.

And it is usually me, because when I fudge up, I am not going to keep beating a dead horse for too long after I have realized I made an error. I think I have grown as an individual because of that; probably the most I have gained from being on here is more patience.

Simple point, but very applicable to this board. This is why, I often ask another poster, is there any chance you could be wrong? If they say no, then you already know, they have already prepared themselves to use defense mechanisms to reject any and all evidence that goes against their belief.

Sounds a lot like you getting mad at Elendu because he did not agree with you using the "No True Christian" bit. In fact it sounded a lot like anger to me and you said you got especially mad because he said he was an agnostic.

Satan doesn't speak to any of us. And that makes sense, given that the presence of a devil would be pretty close to as convincing of the presence of god as seeing god myself.

Jesus used poetic language all of the time. I see nothing about Jesus saying the he believed in the flood. I can see him using the "Flood" to describe the actions of Man.
