Cats and dogs were brought there by people when Australia was made into a prison colony, which is documented. Squirrels too, as well as rabbits are not natives to Australia. Those are all placental mammals.

The fact that Australia was isolated from the rest of the planet and happened to start out with a higher population of marsupials is why we see kangaroos, etc., there.

Apparently there are marsupial mice and marsupial dogs (Tasmanian Tiger) and marsupial cats (Tiger quoll; though the cat doesn't look like a cat to me.)

I'm saying you have to accept whatever they tell you without criticism. Your evidence for evolution is often whatever they publish.

They say living in Australia changed the animals into marsupials. Gee. I was thinking of moving to Australia. Now I'm not sure.

The only critics you have are Creationists and nobody wants to listen to them.

If creationists had any objective evidence, it would be different. You can believe it on faith though, no problem.
