The Bible lists several things to happen before Christ return's again.

The Mark of the Beast must occur before any gathering of God's church.

Revelation 20:4,5 shows that those who were killed during the "mark of the Beast' scenerio are in the first resurrection. And no one goes to heaven before the dead in Christ are raised first...THEN WE which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with 'them' to be ever with the Lord.

Also, the revealing of the Anti-Christ must happen first, 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3.
Everyone will know the issues behind the Mark of the beast scenrio...and make their choices, before Christ can come ...for eternal life, or eternal death.

Remember: when Christ comes back, he brings his reward with him...to give 'EVERY" man, (Revelation 22:11,12).
Only then....will every man's destiny be fixed forever, never more to change again.
No man goes to heaven or hell until after Jesus Crist comes again.

Hi Silver,

You are right, about Hell anyway, but what of those who die after Jesus Christ comes again, the coming of the son of man on the clouds or the parousia talked about in the Olivet Discourse.

Who is going to be around to die after Jesus comes again? We will all be changed.

I thought that as well. But in the old testament we are told that our flesh goes back to dust from whence it came and our soul goes back to where it came (God). Also, in Revelation we're told that hell gives up it's dead. If hell gives up it's dead, then who is it giving up unless this is a bad translation and really means that the graves give up their dead? (look up where the word helmet comes from hel=covering as in grave)

The issue of the graves also leads to more questions because many graves have been totally destroyed and disintegrated over the years
hence only those who died in recent times

Graves over 1000 years old could have been compacted by earth moving equipment, crushed by excavators, foundations of bridges, massive buildings , pits, gold mines etc

Hell giving up its dead--- Those who are spiritually dead in Christ or dead in truth would be GIVEN up from where their souls are EVEN THOUGH they WOULD BE PHYSICALLY alive.
In addition, there are those who follow Satan after the 1000 years. They are dead in Christ.
