You are right faith does come by hearing and the word hearing is not the same as in our English dictionary.

I am quickly seeing that you have a modus operandi that you follow. See your above quote? Now, look at how you started your last reply to me.

I don't disagree with a single word you said. However you missed the point, growth of Faith doesn't come intellectually or doctrinally.

You say? "I am right." and.. "You do not disagree with a single word I said." Then you go ahead and contradict what I did say. All done with... a sweet smile on your face.

I am not liking this dialogue I am having with you. I smell a possible agenda at foot. That means?

One can agree on the basic fundamental facts at heart, but how those facts are applied in ones life is a totally different ball game, especially when it comes to the question of faith.

I am here to feed the church and not to divide it, therefore as Paul once confessed that he used modus operandi to win people over to the true worship in Christ, therefore the ends justifies the means.

My ends is to unify the church in Christ and declare the true worship in Christ and to plead with the inner man, so that he overthrows the outward man who looks only on the surface, while deep down the inner man languishes.

Matthew 23:27
"What sorrow awaits you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees. Hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs--beautiful on the outside but filled on the inside with dead people's bones and all sorts of impurity.

Are we addressing the inward man appropriately or is the religious game behind the pulpit about the outward man to look beautifully dressed in faith, before the masses.

As I said previously in my post link below, is Christianity an outward religion of the world or is it the religion of the heart, for the inward man?

A person can come to faith as a little child without being literate nor understanding the depth, breadth or height of scripture.

i know that the word is not just scripture, the word is sown in the heart.

Its how the Word... is made flesh in us. Its made to be the living Word in us. We eat the word and it becomes a part of us. That is why we see terms like "milk and meat."
Its unlike any other discipline known to man in the world.

It is not MAN that we need to teach us. The anointing ( not the human part of man) teaches us all thins. If a believer has a teaching gift from God he speaks from the NEW man in Christ and the anointing is the teacher, "which the Spirit teaches all things. So it is not man or the old man the flesh man the carnal mind the wisdom of men, or anything like that that teaches us all things. Read 1 Cor 2 again, and we do not need mans opinions or those who exalt themsleves over believers and act as lord who control everything.

Paul said we do not know any man after the flesh any more (as we walk in the spirit that is)

So, why are you trying to teach me?

I speak the truth in Christ

I don't trust in human wisdom in the things of God. Listen in your spirit for the word of God and this anointing of God teaches us all things. If i speak truth it will be in the word and confirmed by it. yes believers can speak words that are not just quotes from scripture as they are sound words that cannot be condemned. If they can be condemned they are condemned by scripture.

You are still trying to teach me.. After you said? "It is not MAN that we need to teach us." That is what I am getting at.

I am trying to get you to see that what that passage speaks of is not what you appear to have claimed. What John said had to do with hearing John teach. Who was a man. But, not needing some man to teach you afterwards how to understand what John had been teaching.

In other words? We still need anointed men of God to teach us. But, after they do teach? We should not need some other man to try to teach/tell us what to think about what was taught to us. For that is what the anointing of the Holy Spirit is for in us for. That's the point I think you have been missing. Tell me if I am wrong, please.

It is not men who stand over others as if they are the ones who have to teach us in their human wisdom and learning, with the eloquence of mans natural ability. The old man is crucified and dead. We do not live from the old man. But the new man is in Christ and all believers are part of that new man, called the body of Christ. Christ is the head of that body and so when one member of that body speaks or teaches something. That teaching comes from the head Christ, (or it should), as Paul showed in Ephesians 4;15,16). Our faith should not stand in the wisdom of men but in the power of God and His word.

"15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love."Ephesians 4;15,6)

Paul said when they heard him they did not receive his word as the word of men but as it is in truth the word of God that effectually works in those that believe.

Paul also speaks against going away from the head and having men draw us away.

"8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:" Colossians 2:8-10

Paul like John warned against such men that would draw away disciples after them and their mans teachings. We see many today who do this and who do not allow the body to edify itself as Christ the head works in them. Instead we see a one man ministry and pre arranges messages and sermons and mans wisdom often.

"29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them." (Acts 20:29,30)

John warned of such in this verse verse in this thread,

"26 These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you." (1 John 2:26)

They were being seduced against who Jesus was and other things. But john knew that he was in Christ and speaking the truth of God and he knew that they that are of God hear Gods words. He directs them to God in them, the anointing of the word, to teach them all things. ALL things means ALL things. So when we hear truth from a man of God who is in Christ . We are hearing the things that the Spirit speaks in them and to us. Which things the Holy Ghost teacheth comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

"1 And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God....4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God....10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned." (1 Corinthians 2)

But today evangelists, pastors, and teachers are the spiritual gifts given to edify the saints. Therefore those who claim to be apostles and prophets today are deceivers (2 Pet 2:1-22).

wrong nowhere did it say apostles and prophets have ceased.

That verse in Ephesians 4:11, shows apostles and prophets given after the resurrection. These were men like Paul Timotheous, Silvans, Barnabas, all were apostles as scripture clearly shows.

"Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians...6 Nor of men sought we glory, neither of you, nor yet of others, when we might have been burdensome, as the apostles of Christ." 1 Thess. 1:1, 2:6 KJV)

"Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain
prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul." ( Acts 13;1 KJV)

with

"14 Which when the
apostles, Barnabas and Paul, heard of, they rent their clothes, and ran in among the people, crying out,"

And all of the above words of human beings are trumped by the words of God:

"The Law and the Prophets were proclaimed until John; since that time the gospel of the kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is forcing his way into it" -- Jesus Christ (Luke 16:16).

Sometimes (thankfully rarely), the biblical writers contradicted the words of God. And when this happens, God's words must take precedence. As Jesus said in Matthew 28:18-20: "And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."
