Well, I didn't have time to read everything posted on this thread but I have a thought on the whole M rating thing.

When you say you it is alright for you to play something because it "doesn't effect you" you are in reality saying "I am immature because your not deciding if it is right for the violence to be there or not." Using, "doesn't effect you" as justification merely says that you want to do what I want to do and not have to think about it. ~ The Prolixly Didactic Verbal Vampire ;)

That doesn't work out.

Think about it; if this were true, you could never do anything that might affect anyone, if every determination that something is okay for you is just a "rationalization".

I mean, you could apply that argument to anything.

There are indeed people who mistakenly think something isn't affecting them, but there are also people who are genuinely not harmed by some things. See Romans 14.

I'm not saying anything against what you are saying, I agree with you. And I'm not saying M rated games are bad, I play them myself. I'm just saying that saying it should be thought about. Is what is brought across right or wrong. Is it moral or immoral, would you play a game that is about killing innocence be a good thing merely because it's fun and because you say your impartial to it? I'm saying not to be impartial, judge. Does it promote something that is wrong? Judge for yourself by God's word.

Inadvertently, shouldn't the argument be applied to everything?

Hmm, when I did it. I won rather quickly by going to one of the corners, which reduces her possible angles of attack by 1/2. She just kept charging me, which I'd block (or roll aside, don't remember), which leaves her open while she recovers, after which I'd use the opportunity to whack her a couple times. Then I'd go back to blocking, and she'd charge again, until she eventually dies.

The other advantage of situating yourself in a corner is that when she attacks, the wall will stop her from moving past you.

Oh, and whatever you do, don't get caught by her beam attack. Just run away if she does it.

If that fails, try reading GameFAQs.com for other strategies people have used.
