  2. I just wanted to share something my fiance' came up with. She is a jewelry designer and has a shop with her daughter. They asked if I had an outlet for some of their items and I told them I would share it with everyone here at CF. So I started them an Etsy Shop account to showcase what they have done. And this is the first items! Check it out and let me know what you think!

Revelation 20:4-6 is a reference about WHOM will reign with Him.

It's already here. There are over 3 dozen chapters of prophecy about the New Jerusalem. They pretty specifically interpret it as a illustration God's people in the age that was to follow the age of the four gentile empires. No one has any right to cast an interpretation on it outside of the way the Bible itself does. I think you'll find this indisputable if you read this link.

After the 1,000 years Reign of Jesus on the Earth[Revelation 20:4-6]... the Great White Throne Judgment will happen Revelation 20:11-15....
    THEN
New Jerusalem will come down on the New [rejuvenated Earth's surface] without sea Revelation 21...

    Revelation 21:1-4
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth are passed away; and the sea is no more.

2 And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven of God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband.

3 And I heard a great voice out of the throne saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he shall dwell with them, and they shall be his peoples, and God himself shall be with them, [and be] their God: 4 and he shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall be no more; neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more: the first things are passed away.

The New Jerusalem is God's house, that has many mansions, one for every one of us who belong to Jesus. It is in the process of being filled up with believers, as recorded in Jn.14:2-3 and Rom.11:25. When nthe times of the Gentiles, believers, has come to the full, they will all be caught up to be with the Lord forever in 1 Thess.4:17.

They will return with Jesus in His second coming, in Rev.19:14, and reign with Him here on earth for 1,000 years, according to Rev.20:6. When the 1,000 years is over, the Great White Throne Judgment will take place, when death, Hades, and everyone who's name is not written in the book of life, will be thrown into the lake of fire.

The present heaven and earth will pass away ad God will provide new heaven and earth, as recorded in Rev.21:1. The New Jerusalem will come down from heaven at that time, in Rev.21:2. A 1,500 mile cube, with a mansion in it for every person who ever believed in Jesus Christ.

Small detail ...only when New Jerusalem will come down on the New Earth [Revelation 21:1-3]you will be allowed to enter it [Revelation 21:7] ....thus after the Great White Throne Judgment [Revelation 20:11-15.]
    Revelation 21:7
7 He that overcometh shall inherit these things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

Another detail ...you will have to OVERCOME to have your name written on it.
OVERCOME have not the same meaning than EASY WAY OUT ie -nobody will be "raptured pre-trib" to avoid tribulation be it small or great.

    Revelation 3:12-13
12 He that overcometh, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go out thence no more: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God, and mine own new name.

13 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches.

Based on Luke 21:24-28, the "times of the Gentiles" comes to an end, and the second coming all occur on the same day.

Luk 21:24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

    Luk 21:25  And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

Luk 21:26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

Luk 21:27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

Luk 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

I believe, as Jesus said, all these things would happen soon. I believe they have. I also believe that people take Revelation and interpret what the see in black and white as, black and white!

There was effectively things to happen soon upon the 7 Churches in existence during the Time of John [Revelation 2 ...Revelation 3]
    Revelation 1:1
    1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show unto his servants, [even] the things which must shortly come to pass: and he sent and signified [it] by his angel unto his servant John;

But also the things that were to come HEREAFTER ...
    Revelation 4 through Revelation 22 ...
    Revelation 4:1
1 After these things I saw, and behold, a door opened in heaven, and the first voice that I heard, [a voice] as of a trumpet speaking with me, one saying, Come up hither, and I will show thee the things which must come to pass hereafter.

I do. The New Earth as the Bible prophesied it though, not as you imagine it. There are dozens of chapters of prophecy about the New Jerusalem, not just two.
    Like this:

Isaiah 65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.18 But be you glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy. 19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying. 20 There shall be no more there an infant of days, nor an old man that has not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed. 21 And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them. 22 They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and my elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands. 23 They shall not labor in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them. 24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear. 25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, said the LORD.

Or like these three chapters in Isaiah, declared to be speaking of the New Jerusalem by the apostle Paul.

Do you see LIONS eating STRAW like the BULLOCK ?If not, that is because this is not the New Earth mentioned in Isaiah 65:17-25 and Revelation 21.

I remember the old, sin-cursed earth.

I heard my cousins weeping at my aunt's funeral a couple of weeks ago.

Yes they do. Just like mountains, hills, trees are illustrations of the nations in the prophetic language of the Bible. so are animals.

Do you remember living through the Aztec empire where hundreds of thousands possibly millions were sacrificed on the top of pyramids in a city that rivaled European cities in scope and size? Where their bodies were thrown to demonically infused crowds who then took them home and roasted and ate them. Or had giant roasts of human flesh right their in the city square? Don't remember that to you....meaning it's not part of your thought processes? Nothing in your life experience can relate to that. Yet that is a picture of the entire ancient world that was not influenced at all by the Kingdom of God. We read mostly of Babylon, Persia, Greece and Rome who all had one thing in common. They had the influence of Moses and the prophets to curb the plunge into the most disgusting demonic idolatries the rest of the world did not have.

Do you remember that half the world's population were the property of others? Or how about you either served the king or emperor with your life or you were dead? How about an average lifespan of 4o years? A child mortality rate of over 50%. No such thing as property rights other than you were the property of someone else and they could do as they pleased with you. You see that is the problem. Because our generations in the lands that have had the Gospel preached to them in power for centuries. In the lands that have Bibles sitting in every household. They do not have any idea of what the ancient world was like. They think it was sort of like ours was but they in their great wisdom and knowledge and science made it better. Hogwash. The dynamic that changed the world and created the free world so many of us now enjoy was one thing and one thing only. Bible's got into the hands of the general public starting exactly when the Roman Empire fell in 1453 AD. This world, where today over a 100,000 people a day are accepting Christ. Where against great warfare to stop it; the influence of the Word of God is slowly but surely growing bringing freedon, prosperity, bringing the curtain down on the abominations of the ancient world is the world the Bible prophesied about.

Another mistake you are making about these prophecies is that you fancy that God will impose them on the world miraculously rather than God will work with peoples hearts to create an environment where the promises can come to pass if people or nations will meet the conditions. You should read the link I put up on the other chapters about the New Jerusalem. It will bring it much more into context and focus. Here it is again. The Bride of Christ

When do you think the New Heavens and the New Earth that Peter was looking for in 2 Peter 3:10-13 came to fruition?

Peter was not given an understating of the times and seasons of Bible prophecy.
Acts 2:7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. None of the apostles were except John and that because he got to live through a lot of things they prophesied, like the end of the Old Covenant age. The others were all dead by the time those events rolled around. Anyway. That is all a huge subject and fire is used all over the Old Testament to illustratively prophesy the destruction of nations in Old Testament times. What Peter is prophesying about is the end of the Old Covenant age. His prophecy was entirely accurate. What he thought it all meant was not. The end of the world is not prophesied in the Bible. Just the end of the Old Covenant age and the end of the age of those four gentile empires followed by this age that has well over a hundred chapters of prophecy and promise concerning it that are coming to pass before the eye's of the whole world. Those are the prophecies people should be putting their faith in.

This is the first few chapters of the article I linked. If you haven't read it please do. It will open your eye's to something you have not really noticed before. When do these come to pass?
    The Bride of Christ

In Galatians 4 the Apostle declares: 21 Tell me, you that desire to be under the law, do you not hear the law? 22 For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a female slave, the other by a free woman. 23 But he who was of the female slave was born after the flesh; but he of the free woman was by promise. 24 Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which engenders to bondage, which is Hagar. 25 For this Hagar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answers to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children. 26 But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all. 27 For it is written, Rejoice, you barren that bore not; break forth and cry, you that travail not: for the desolate has many more children than she which has an husband. 28 Now we, brothers, as Isaac was, are the children of promise, 29 But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now. 30 Nevertheless what said the scripture? Cast out the female slave and her son: for the son of the female slave shall not be heir with the son of the free woman. 31 So then, brothers, we are not children of the female slave, but of the free. In this teaching the Apostle is clearly saying that the rituals and rites of the Mosaic law called the first covenant are symbolized by Hagar and the birth of Ishmael. He calls the mother of the children of the first covenant the physical city of Jerusalem. In the context of the entire chapter he is comparing the purely physical descendant's of Abraham to the people of faith, be they Jew or Gentile. The point of this is that he is quoting from one of the old Testament prophecies about the New Jerusalem to teach this; Isaiah 54. The article will go through it verse by verse to show the amazing accuracy of it as a prophecy.

(AKJV) Isaiah 54:1 Sing, O barren, you that did not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, you that did not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, said the LORD.
This is the verse Paul quotes. The way he is interpreting it is that the Mosaic Law and the physical city of Jerusalem were the married wife that bore many children. The people of faith though, few and for most of the history of ancient Israel persecuted and murdered by the faithless; these are the children of the desolate woman. However with the coming of the messiah the children of the desolate woman, in this case the children of the Jerusalem from above, the New Jerusalem, would bear more children than the earthly city would. The rest of the prophecy in Isaiah 54 will say more of this.
2 Enlarge the place of your tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of your habitations: spare not, lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes; 3 For you shall break forth on the right hand and on the left; and your descendants shall inherit the Nations, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited. A truly amazing prophecy exhorting the faithful with the promise that lay ahead. That the people of faith soon to be of all nations will grow and expand. So much so that it will be said the descendant of Abraham, the Messiah, through them will inherit the nations. That the fruit of this will be prosperous civilizations. (The desolate cities will be inhabited.)
4 Fear not; for you shall not be ashamed: neither be you confounded; for you shall not be put to shame: for you shall forget the shame of your youth, and shall not remember the reproach of your widowhood any more. 5 For your Maker is your husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and your Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called. 6 For the LORD has called you as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when you were refused, said your God. 7 For a small moment have I forsaken you; but with great mercies will I gather you. 8 In a little wrath I hid my face from you for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on you, said the LORD your Redeemer. 9 For this is as the waters of Noah to me: for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with you, nor rebuke you. 10 For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from you, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, said the LORD that has mercy on you.
Here are more references to the bride of Christ. The shame and the reproach of her youth and being forsaken is a reference to the tribulations the believers in ancient Israel faced at the hands of the Gentiles because of the wickedness of the majority of its citizens and its leaders. Due to this they were not recipients of any of the earthly promises of God made to Abraham and in many other places in the scripture. It seemed as if they were forsaken by God and left to the whims of the wicked. It mattered not how they lived their lives before the Lord. They reaped whatever the despots who ran the world sowed. This certainly did not change in New Testament times and for many a century beyond that. Yet in the next verses we have a promise of a day when that would not be so.
11 O you afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted, behold, I will lay your stones with fair colors, and lay your foundations with sapphires. 12 And I will make your windows of agates, and your gates of carbuncles, and all your borders of pleasant stones. 13 And all your children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of your children. 14 In righteousness shall you be established: you shall be far from oppression; for you shall not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near you. 15 Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whoever shall gather together against you shall fall for your sake. 16 Behold, I have created the smith that blows the coals in the fire, and that brings forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy. 17 No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, said the LORD.
The first few verses unmistakably use the same type of illustrations as the New Jerusalem in Revelation. Verse 14 clearly states that the way these children of the heavenly city will be established in the earth is because of righteousness. That the terror and the oppression their ancestors lived under and those peoples in the nations who do not know righteousness are subjugated to will not be their story, their testimony. Verse 15 points out that these promises will come to pass in a world where evil exists because the wicked seek to conquer the people of faith. It simply shows that unlike the ancient world where the wicked reigned in perpetuity. In this one with the Lords help, the righteous will come out on top.

The Old Covenant Age ended at Calvary with the words "It is finished.", found in John 19:30.
Shortly after that God ripped the temple veil in half showing that the Old Covenant system was no longer needed.

At the Last Supper Christ announced that He would fulfill the New Covenant in His Blood. (Matthew 26:28) It did not wait until 70 AD.

In Galatians chapter 4, Paul compelled the Galatian church to "cast out" the covenant of "bondage", because it had already become "obsolete".

We find in Hebrews 10:16-18 that the New Covenant had already come into effect, because there was no more sacrifice for sin.
This passage destroys your doctrine, which claims both systems were in effect until the temple was destroyed in 70 AD.
