I couldn't help but think of this meme I saw a while ago as I drove down the interstate the other night by the glow of an open flame of Holy Fire inches from my arm. Dang, the Orthodox church is fun! (And I tried to think of a possible explanation should I get stopped by the cops....)

That's one of my favorite memes. I had one with altar boys asleep in a heap too.

So I'm not the only one to think about what I'd say if I got pulled over? "No, officer, I can't put out the fire. It's a religious requirement". (Requirement isn't the right word but my brain is spacey right now.)

Actually, iirc, I saw it on New Zoo Revue, but I'm a little older than you. Sometimes those early childhood shows REALLY date us if they don't run long-term.

I still want the early Captain Kangaroo to be available.

I watched Captain Kangaroo as a kid, too. I still have Mr. Green Jeans' autograph.
