We had a Catechism class tonight after Compline and the fellowship hall was packed - for the number we expected!

We thought maybe 3, but one couldn't come due to family obligations ... I think we had closer to 18 (including a few parishioners, and family members of those wishing catechesis).

I'm glad one of the ladies had made food. Lentil soup, brown rice, pita strips with hummus and peanut butter, slices of fruit.

Not a bad start.

I think about 11, so maybe with the one who couldn't make it last night we could have 12. That's never happened before ... we typically have about 3 at a time.

(Two of the 12 are children though, and one lady is from the Ukraine so I expect she might have some background.)

It's still pretty amazing to me.

Yesterday was only day 1 and I was already yawning last night, having been there for the service and then the class. And up this morning for Bible Study!

I love it though. If only I lived closer, I would be very happy about the schedule.

One older lady lives across the street from the Church. Her home, the fellowship hall, and the Nave are about equal distances, so it's almost like she lives at Church. I could be covetous for her location, lol.

And - if I understand the joke - you have already started fasting while other groups of Christians are having pancake day in preparation for starting fasting, therefore their liturgical calendar is inferior?

Happy very late birthday, sorry I just been so busy with Church, school, and work, and when I do come on here before Lent, I was just trolling Liberals to a ultra agree, pretty easy to wind up too lol . My birthday was also February 18th, I turned 33, a Georgian friend warned me to watch out as I hit Christ age.
