And, the fact that some seem to be ENJOYING the thought ..... hmmmmmmmmmmmm.

:p

Well, among my many other "helpful" traits, on FB, I support a couple of local businesses by sharing their posts... Including the pics, from this GREAT local butcher shop.

Hmph.

I had a funny I wanted to share, but it actually DOES include photos (I thought it was cartoons) so I will refrain until a better time.

Instead perhaps ...

It's been so long since I've done this. I don't know what to eat! I didn't realize I ate so much food with meat and dairy and fish!
Someone needs to resurrect one of the Lenten recipe threads (or all of them ;) )

We had a Catechism class tonight after Compline and the fellowship hall was packed - for the number we expected!

We thought maybe 3, but one couldn't come due to family obligations ... I think we had closer to 18 (including a few parishioners, and family members of those wishing catechesis).

I'm glad one of the ladies had made food. Lentil soup, brown rice, pita strips with hummus and peanut butter, slices of fruit.

Not a bad start. :)
