I liked bacon back when I was growing up. It's not the same anymore? Though there's a good bite here and there.

I used to read a lot of Scripture to my daughter when she was small. And something stuck with her that made her decide that she wasn't supposed to eat pork. I explained gently why we believe what we do, but I respected her conviction, which she held for some time. It was bacon that caused her to revisit the idea though.

I admit hearing about bacon-flavored everything, including chocolate, just sounded weird to me when it was so popular a couple of years ago. But I'd bet maple and bacon are a good combo. And I've probably had it at some point(s).

Bacon flavored chocolate? Never!!! Good chocolate needs no enhancement! Mmm....

(If chocolate has anything added, it needs to complement the chocolate, not make it a completely different food )

Agreed. Bacon and chocolate is just WEIRD! I think they were making shakes of it a couple of years ago.

Chocolate goes well with nuts, or fruit. Or even pretzels or popcorn.

Not bacon, or pot roast, or tacos, lol.

Good dark chocolate goes well with a glass of decent red wine too [ not milk chocolate though - has to be the real dark stuff with high Cocoa content ]

Yes, definitely the good stuff. Not the "Special Dark" Hershey puts out...that really isn't true dark chocolate. Once you taste the good stuff, you can't go back!

there is a candy store near where I live that is in the American Candy Hall of Fame (yes, that is a thing), and is a mom-and-pop kinda deal. they make chocolate covered bacon, and it is amazing.

True story today: Working with little kids today on I/You/He/She. When they talked about themselves, they use I. When they talk about other students, they use he/she. And when they talk to me, they use you. Simple right? Except half of them call me she.

And bacon chocolate. Sounds interesting but only if american bacon. Japanese bacon is awful.
