Anyway, I would love to stay and talk like I am but it's 1:11 am now and I need to go to bed.

No, unless you are a CF Pet.Mϋzikdϋde said:Will all the taunting I get effect my health?![]()
Dude, I am exhausted.Mϋzikdϋde said:There ya go, trying to convince us you're human again.
Eating and happiness are health related whereas post count is not. I still believe the name should be changed.Erwin said:Put your mouse over your Health Bar - if it says 7 posts per day or more, then your Health should be 100/100.It's not meant to be taken seriously - like a post count, it means nothing, except an indication of your activity. Rather than make members buy food, making them post seems to make more sense.
I don't think it's a troll issue as much as an inability to please everyone all the time...princess heart said:I like it.![]()
Thank you, Erwin, for all the fun things you put here for us to enjoy.![]()
A troll is a troll no matter what shows on the screen. They'll be trolls no matter what you do or don't do, so why worry about them? They carry their own encouragement in their back pockets.
Yep, I agree. I share the concern expressed by others that this will siomply encourage spamming the board for the sake of numbers. The indiactor makes it look like a "bad thing" to have less than seven posts per day and personally I'd rather encourage posters who put thought and quality ionto their posts, even if they onl;y do 1/week than make them think that it is a negative that tyhey have less than seven per day.Toney said:Mine's off. Eh... I started that comment way back there when someone was worrying about trolls... board moved faster than my brain and fingers worked I just got home from work and am a little slow and sleepy...Mϋzikdϋde said:I don't think it's a troll issue as much as an inability to please everyone all the time...
I like it, so it stays.![]()
Problem is: A quality post to you may be garbage to me.Toms777 said:Yep, I agree. I share the concern expressed by others that this will siomply encourage spamming the board for the sake of numbers. I know that is not Erwin's intent to leave the negative impression, but it is the impression that one gets.
When I came on this morning and saw it, my first thought was that it was some analysis by mods of quality of posts and wondered whta those withy larger red bars were doing wrong.
I know that the intent was good and Erwin has done some great things with this board, but I really think that this is one feature which should go. Mine is turned off.
Agreed.herev said:Erwin, it seems you can't catch a break--I appreciate all you do around here--I love it, and if I don't like this new idea, I'll turn it off. Keep doing what you're doing--and Go to Bed!!!
I understand and that is why quality is a hard thing to assess. We agree.Mϋzikdϋde said:Problem is: A quality post to you may be garbage to me.
I post in the fellowship threads now for the most part. Many of my posts could be viewed as spam. I guess it all depends on your viewpoint.
I agree. I think leaving it as an option is a good idea. The problems will die as the novelty wears off.Toms777 said:I understand and that is why quality is a hard thing to assess. We agree.
I just don't want people to feel driven to get that little green line up higher by posting "bump" messages or other such things just to get the numbers up.
