What experiences?

The following scripture which describes the new heavens and earth shows the following:

• It will be much like the current earth, having fruit houses, and vineyards
• There will be animals there, but they will no longer kill for food.

Isa 65:17-25 "For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; And the former shall not be remembered or come to mind. But be glad and rejoice forever in what I create; For behold, I create Jerusalem as a rejoicing, And her people a joy. I will rejoice in Jerusalem, And joy in My people; The voice of weeping shall no longer be heard in her, Nor the voice of crying. "No more shall an infant from there live but a few days, Nor an old man who has not fulfilled his days; For the child shall die one hundred years old, But the sinner being one hundred years old shall be accursed. They shall build houses and inhabit them; They shall plant vineyards and eat their fruit. They shall not build and another inhabit; They shall not plant and another eat; For as the days of a tree, so shall be the days of My people, And My elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands. They shall not labor in vain, Nor bring forth children for trouble; For they shall be the descendants of the blessed of the LORD, And their offspring with them. "It shall come to pass That before they call, I will answer; And while they are still speaking, I will hear. The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, The lion shall eat straw like the ox, And dust shall be the serpent's food. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain," Says the LORD.

In Revelations, we see there are rivers and food:

Rev 22:2 In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

There will be cities:

Rev 21:1-2 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

People from outside the city will bring their goods into it:

Rev 21:23-25 The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light. And the nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it. Its gates shall not be shut at all by day (there shall be no night there). And they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it.

There will be various dwelling places:

Joh 14:2 In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

In fact, there will be many new exciting experiences, that we could not imagine with the mind:

1Co 2:9 But as it is written: "EYE HAS NOT SEEN, NOR EAR HEARD, NOR HAVE ENTERED INTO THE HEART OF MAN THE THINGS WHICH GOD HAS PREPARED FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HIM."

What's wrong with praisin God forever in heaven?, there are 24 Elders, millions of saints and angels doing this day and night, it will be glorious!

What experiences?

As described in Scripture is pure, holy, wise, correct, uplifting, encouraging, hopeful, life-giving, life-enhancing, one with God, one with Jesus, one with believers, full of peace overflowing, full of unlimited joy, suffering joyfully while on earth even if fiery trials, a necessity.

i.e. see all the things written in Scripture for God's Revelation of God's Plan. He never causes confusion/men do/.

I turned to Christ this past summer, so pardon my ignorance pls.

Anyhow, Ive recently been thinking about heaven. And I was getting excited about it and exploring the new earth, meeting Jesus, doing things with Jesus, etc. But ive recently started getting these "experiences" I dont really know how to put it, where im pretty sure God is basically telling me "No, you stand around my throne and sing in worship forever". No im not crazy, although I sure feel crazy rn XD. But anyways, this causes me alot of distress cause if thats all we do, I dont really look forward to heaven tbh. I mean, I love God, and most def dont mind bowing before him, but thats ALL we do? Im kinda just in dispear to be honest, cause if thats all we do, whats the point in building skills now? If they are just discarded in the next life.

Anyhow im going off topic. My question is this, HOW do I tell if God is the one saying this? I dont know what to do tbh. But its really stressing me out

I've been a Christian for years now, but in my early Christian walk I copped a certain amount of what might be called "spiritual" harassment. It could be quite discouraging.

Mind you I also had some experiences which I firmly believe were either from God or angelic in origin.

In your particular case I suspect the devil is discouraging you. He knows that to you the thought of standing around for billions of years doing nothing but singing hymns and Gospel songs does not exactly fill you with enthusiasm.

So he's giving you a sense that's all eternal life is - one endless hallelujah chorus.

I remember my old pastor saying in a sermon once that the devil was having a garage sale. He was going through all the tools and methods he'd used and throwing out those that were no longer useful. "Arianism? Nah, that can go - I used it up centuries ago. Men ruling over women like little lords - nah, that's getting a bit dated ... we've moved onto gender fluidity these days ...we've got them all runnng like lemmings to the other side of the boat now...."

One of the demons picked up this battered old box labelled "Discouragement". The devil looked at it, and thought, "Wait a minute! Don't toss it out! I'll hang onto that one for a bit longer ... I've done a lot of good work using discouragement!"

I think you're being discouraged. And as a new Christian don't be surprised if you cop some other diversions - if one thing doesn't work, the devil will try something else.

Unpopular doctrine: no one goes to heaven. Christ is coming to Earth to set up His Father's kingdom and so heaven will be here. With that perspective, I will leave you to research, investigate and set forth on winding bunny trails of alternate information.
