God did not write or say that people who are "New Age" are against Him. Many of the people who got messages or signs from God would be people considered today to be "New Age." Jesus himself was unpopular with many because his views were not the norm, something that at the time was the equal to the "New Age" movement.

we still have the true and original Bible but ppl have attacked in and thats how we got all these different Bible versions the oriinal KJV is the actual word of God (that is a discussion for another thread and no offense to ppl who use versions other than KJV)

You might follow the King James Version of The Bible, but that is actually one of the most recent versions of The Bible, first printed in 1611. It's a very new interpretation of Scripture.

--No, it isn't cultic. It can be dangerous, of course, but usually not for the reasons conservative Christians condemn it for.

As for "new age music," it has about as much to do with the New Age movement as Top 40 does with Christianity.

Thanks, Lucas, for that support. Okay, okay, I know that music doesn't make ppl pregnant...it's just the message it sends and I'm sick of the darned R&B music...of today I wish New Age music would "kick it in the hindquarters". I wish it would disappear. Because of it, I am forced to listen to it, whenever I visit somebody I know. I know that this may be against the subject...but, not everyone has a significant other.

Although R&B does mainly revolve around the same issues, nobody's really forcing you to listen to it. There is plenty of New Age music for you to listen to--buy their CDs and listen to them wherever you can.

There's a great deal of music these days that happens to be disharmonious. What you're saying about R&B does have validity. Look at this website, www.hado.net, and tell me what you think.

They pray to their leader, who is God's chosen one, 10 hours a day, and are taught that God made Women only to serve men. They dress in uniforms, are pulled from public schools and have children at 13 and 14 years old. If the children cry they are held in icy water until they stop by the men. They are told that the Outside is run by Satan and everyone is evil so they should not leave the village. And the police work for and are part of the church. They aren't mormons, actually, they are Christians, who just interpret the Bible that way. But people who listen to new-age music are definitely the dangerous and cultic ones, eh?

Jesus warned us there would be people saying they are God or Jesus and there would be false prophets.

I disagree. I listen to new age music and find it helps me focus on the Divine (God).

It also makes me relaxed and clears my mind of worries and stress.

To say those who listen to this genre are dangerous and cultic is like saying those who listen to country music are satanists.
