Hi guys, I'm new here so I don't know much. I need help with this guy on YouTube that really scares me by what he teaches. His YouTube handle is AllforChrist(TheAllForXMan). I would really appreciate if you could help me by debunking him or with not being scared about his teachings. I also have scrupulosity, and that causes me to think really bad about sins. Please help!

Know that you are not alone. Just know that God loves you as he does love all his children. If you have anxiety watching that individuals teachings, may I suggest to you to read Psalm 23? It is personally my favorite Psalm, as it helps aide my anxiety at times I struggle, as well as deepen my connection with God. I also recommend looking up the Serenity Prayer- as it may help you, like it has helped me as well.

The Lord Is My Shepherd
A Psalm Of David

23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters.
He restores my soul.
He leads me in paths of righteousness
for his name's sake.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies;
you anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Fearing God because of sin is the wrong way to deal with sin. Fear does not stop sin rightly but His loving grace does. So thank God for salvation each time satan - that accuser - brings your sin to mind. Instead of allowing satan to have you dine on shame, guilt and fear have Jesus dine you on His loving grace. The good thing of eating grace is that it gives us thankful loving hearts and thankful loving hearts have little trouble with sin.

Try it. Thank God for saving you from hell each time satan makes you fear it because of your sin. Just keep thanking and praising Him for going on the cross to pay for your sins. Let thankfulness lift you up before God's throne and praise Him for salvation instead of fear Him for damnation.

i looked on youtube under AllforChrist and found only music videos, could you post one of his speeches? That way i could check out what he has to say and see if he is scriptural in his analyses.

Peace.

Thank you both, your words are comforting. But this guy has had a big impact on my mental health. I could be enjoying myself with my family and I think of him and everything spirals down. I constantly worry about what is and what isn't a sin, and look for lists of sins. What do I do?

Stop digesting sin and look at Jesus living in you and in others and praise Him for His good life. Honest dining on sin brings us the worms and drives us mad, but dinning on God's grace brings liberty from all of that.

Looking at sin is driven by fear and brings us fear but looking at Jesus overcoming sin makes us thankful, glad and loving.

Keep your eyes peeled on Jesus and find liberty from your fears.

Oh one of these poor deluded brothers, doing everything in their own strength and keeping their conscience clean. Our righteousness is in Christ not in our own ability. Everything Jesus has taught me about sin is that sin can be overcome but new sin to overcome keeps on going for as long as we carry flesh. Please ignore everything this man said about perfection, perfection is a heart washed by Christ not someone walking with a self cleared conscience.

1 John 1:8-10
If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.

Peace.

I have turned to a priest many times to unload or talk through some of the issues or fears in my life. Might I suggest you do the same? If you aren't able to visit a church, a priest is often able to connect with you by telephone. Please give it try.

I have also turned to Charles Stanley's ministry for additional resources. His sermons are available online (through his ministry and on YouTube), and in the form of podcasts, sermon notes and newsletters.

Here's one about sinning: https://www.intouch.org/Read/escaping-the-lure-of-sin

I can feel your fear. I promise you many of us struggle in a similar manner, and we mean it when we say you are not alone in this regard. Keep pressing into God and you will find your way.

God bless.

How do I know if your telling the truth? He did say most Christians believe a false gospel. What sins should I avoid on a regular basis? Please help

i quoted Scripture. The bible says that anyone who claims to be without sin is a liar and God's truth is not in them. What more evidence are you looking for?

Thank God for grace! Have faith in His love! Try it! Try having faith in God's love because of Jesus Christ and see if your heart becomes peaceful or not. That is the best way to seek truth by doing it.

The accuser in your guilty conscience doesn't tell you right about sin but scares you away from faith into God's damnation. For it is by faith that we have been saved through grace.

So stopping your sin is not going to help your standing with God for even if we walk a blameless life according to the law we still fall far short of God's mark of perfection.

Accept that you are a sinner and accept that Jesus alone can safe you. Keep doing that keep accepting that Jesus can save you from your sin but that your efforts will not make for a righteous life.

Things to do to be saved

1) believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of God.
2) put your faith in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins.
3) let Jesus wash away your sins with His blood.
4) live a thankfully loving life.

Peace

Boxman144, I understand your scrupulosity as I also suffer from it as a manifestation of my OCD. I will discuss this issue at the end of my post.

I watched portions of several videos by this guy. Let me begin with his September 14, 2016 “prophecy” which he used to spew condemnation towards all believers (except himself, of course). In scripture, God made it extremely clear to use discernment toward those claiming to speak for Christ, and one should be seeking the wisdom of someone educated in scripture before expounding about what God supposedly said to them. One's "prophecy" should be able to stand up to scrutiny in being measure against the Bible.

His constant crushing of Christians by him denotes pride to the nth degree; in fact he is mirroring Satan as Christ called him the accuser of the brethren (Rev 12:10). Doubting other Christians' sincerity of faith and salvation based on their outward sins is an easy cop out to lift oneself up in an attempt at self-justification. It's an old ploy by believers that really never seems to go away. In fact, in his October 24 confession video he admits to being a “babe in Christ” which doesn't surprise me at all; he has usurped the word of God by allowing himself to be a teacher despite being a new convert which has resulted in self-conceit (I Tim 3:6).

While I and other established brothers and sisters could write post after post refuting everything he says, it's more important to learn how to study scripture using tested techniques (https://bible.org/seriespage/lesson-6-principles-biblical-interpretation) , utilizing a good study bible like NIV Zondervan Study Bible--bonded leather, burgundy, and learning from sound teachers such as John MacArthur at Grace to You. Charles Stanley, who was recommended by another, is also good. A sound teacher shouldn't condemn but neither appease your sinful nature by appealing to your pride; while the truth can hurt it does not condemn either and can actually be very liberating! You need to be equipped regarding how to measure truth for yourself. One of the best analogies I ever heard was that Christians need to be like bank tellers who handle so many real bills that they can instantly spot a fake on when it comes along.

Finally regarding your scrupulosity, OCD needs to be treated by a psychiatrist and counselor (you can decide on the latter). OCD is a fear based disorder that is linked to disruptions with the neurotransmitter serotonin in the brain. Proper medication can greatly relieve such obsessions as yours as it has mine!

Guys please help me I need help. How do I know who to trust? How do I not sin?

You trust God not man.

Anything that you are taught that disagrees with what God tells us in the Bible is a lie.
How will you know this?
By reading it.
I can remember feeling exactly like you did.
It is a horrible feeling but rest assured you are precious to God and He will never leave you nor forsake you.

Psalm 46:10a says
"Be still and know that I am God"
Psalm 46 would be very good for you to read particularly when you are anxious. I find it very soothing and it reminds us that everything we need is in Him and He is truly our refuge.
God bless you and give you His peace.:prayer:

PS Samaritan woman gave you excellent advice.

Proverbs 3.5-6 is another good set of texts. :)
